"Can we share one?" I ask, pulling out some money.
"Sure, but it's my treat."
I give him a deathly stare, making him back away. "Can we get a vanilla sundae with all the toppings you have?"
"All the toppings? Even the nuts?"
"Everything but the nuts."
The waitress types into the system. "Sure. By the way, you look amazing."
"Thank you so much." I say, handing her some money, "You can keep the change."
"Are you sure? That's ten pounds you're loosing."
"Yeah, keep it."
"Thank you, I'll bring your order right away."
I smile at her, twisting on my heel. I slide into the booth, next to Keaton. He looks up from his phone, switching it off.
"Are you sure we won't be late?" I question.
"Well, maybe a little."
I hit his chest. "I told you that you could have had the ice cream inside the limo."
"Well, I wanted to have a nice one."
"I'm not eating it by the way."
"What?! Then why did you say we'd share?"
"So you wouldn't pay."
"You cheeky-"
The waitress drop the sundae on the table, winking at us both before disappearing.
"So many toppings."
I giggle, taking the dessert spoon. I taste a small amount, cringing at the sweetness of it.
"Does it taste bad?" He asks, taking the dessert spoon from me.
"No. It's just cold."
Keaton laughs. "Ice cream is supposed to be cold."
"I know that! I was just saying."
"You are so cute."
"I am?"
"Very cute. Like one of those clueless anime girls."
"Anime girls?"
"Like the pretty, main characters."
"I just never pegged you as an anime guy."
"Why's that?" He asks, spooning up some more ice cream.
"You seem more of a reading person. You've read Pride and Prejudice."
"And I've been telling you to read it."
"And I don't read."
Keaton takes my hand across the table, "Trust me, it is a good book."
"Nope. I never really cared for my name's origin anyways."
"Alright then Darcy."
"Is it nice then?"
Keaton grins, "Way better than what I would of had in the limo."
"Good, I'm happy that you're happy."
"Want some?"
"No, I'm good."
"Just one scoop. Open your mouth."
"No. I don't want any."
"Please."
"Fine," I open my mouth and he places the spoon in my mouth.
