A kind stranger

Few minutes after, while we chit chatted a little , i noticed something quite unusual, and decided to check on it.

In the distance, with such a wobbling ground caused by the intense hear, i saw something move, slowly... I couldn't make out what it was but, it was surely moving towards us. And the more it grew and got closer the more i relaised what was it.

A woman, walking slowly with her kids in our direction...She seemed so weak, as well as her kids, they all were so skinny and there was no man near them.

I nudged Mr.Joestar to look in they're direction.

He nodded in confirm that he saw and then looked around to see if there's a reason why is woman here in the middle of a desert. And it seems like there was a reason, near us, was a water source, probably used by the villagers near by.

At first it seemed so suspicious, but seeing them holding old and corroded buckets, put our minds at ease.

The woman approached us after 20 minutes, curiously looking at us.

"Hello" her kind voice hushed alongside the small wind that was blowing, she sounded very kind...And weak.

"Hello!", Polnareff , greeted her with a smile on his face.

"Hello, i have to admit, im quite surprised people around these eastern areas know english, is there any village near by? " Avdol asked in curiosity.

It could have been weird if  the woman talked in fluent English, but she had a harsh accent , which was understandable.

"Yes, village very near, i came to pick water, im surprised white strangers here" she weakly smiled, sending her boy to start filling the bucket's. He obediently ran towards the water source, holding his bucket with his tiny hand.
I watched in awe and sadness, he was indeed thin...I felt an urge to offer him one of my sandwiches when he comes back.

The girl ran after him as well, looking a bit younger than him, but they were almost the same age, maybe 2 years difference.

"I'll introduce myself, name Reina, really surprised to meet new people from other country" she approached us, holding her hand on her chest, slightly bowing to us.

"Hello Mrss Reina, *starts talking in eastern language* My name is Muhammed Avdol, "

Mrs.Reina smiled by the sound of the language she was familiar with, and replied back.

"Im Polnareff" Even though he didn't understand shit, he still greeted her nicely.

Reina giggled , and bowed to him as well "Hello Polnareff, silly man, but nice white man"

Polnaref kind of questioned her intentions with those words, but Avdol patted his shoulder, promising a explanations after the introduction.

Mr.Joestar took his hat off and greeted her respectfully.

"Another good white man, you respectful me, you don't hate"

He nodded and shook her hand, reassuring her that she doesn't need to be afraid.

Jotaro just threw a simple "Sup" to her, making her a bit confused, but Avdol stepped forward to explain the meaning of Jotaros cold behavior.

"Ohh he young like Maya, he young grumpy adult" another sweet innocent giggles escaped her mouth.

"Yare Yare..." I could hear him quietly mumbling , while i slowly approached her, greeting her politely, taking her thin hand , and landing a gentle respectful kiss on. That's just how i always treated women.. Who deserve it of course.

Reina, held her left cheek, slightly blushing and giggling, she was a gentle lady after all , and to my polite action she added

"Hehe, Young man so polite, so handsome and gentle, too bad not old enough" she looked at me with such sparkling embarrassed eyes, making me laugh awkwardly while scratching my head from behind.

Her kids came back and landed the filled buclets next to they're mother, while she sat on the carpet we placed for her to sit with us.

I offered two sandwiches to her children, and they looked at me shyly , but she gave them a signal that they are allowed to take it, ...The moment approval was given to them, they ran up to me, excitingly taking my sandwiches, and talking in they're language, probably adoring and thanking me for such a kind offer.

They're mother smiled, and thanked me as well "They like you, and so thankful, can't get much food luxury at home"

I sadly smiled after hearing her short story, and then looked at her baby girl who wanted to sit in my lap, by innocently tugging my uniform.

"She wants in your lap, hm, should i call here to me?" Reina hesitated , thinking i might not like that, since it was too hot, but ...I kindly agreed , wanting to make the little girl Happy.

The moment she climbed my lap, is when she got amazed, shuffling herself into my lap, and nuzzling against my chest , in another singn of "Thank You" ... Couldn't help myself but to patt her small adorable head, before leaning on my back enjoying the company of this small child. Such an adorable innocent soul.

"You a really good man, and a good father, makes me jealous of the woman who will have you" Reina sighed.

That indeed caught me off guard, making me raise my eyebrows and blush in huge embarrassment. Father? I mean sure i was okay with kids...But her praising me so much...I should stop being too kind...But it was hard for me. So i coughed, and nodded quickly , showing my gratitude towards her kind words.

But ohhh mann, i can feel his cold stare piercing me, i gave a quick look at Jotaro, and i knew it, he looked me from head to toe, taking a short pause from his snack, and furrowing his brows .

I gave him a weak shrug and a smile, trying to calm him down, but he just turned away, continuing his lunch and keeping his grumpy face on.

"Damn...I should have Held myself back a bit" I thought awkwardly looking in front of me.
