Alley way

"I'm sorry but when...did I ask you who you were? I bet the answer is Never! so now if you'll excuse me, I got places to be and people to meet." I put up my best fake smile and started to walk past him until he held my wrist and pulled me back to him.

"Not so fast milady. You haven't told me your name yet." Jungkook spoke, his breath fanning my bangs away from my eyes.

"why should I?" I questioned back, while returning his gaze.

"hmmm...so how must I address you then, milady?"

"Nothing. Call me nothing because we will never meet again...Mr. Jungkook!"

"That's not my last name, its Jeon. Jeon Jungkook. But other than this, what makes you think we are not meeting again? How are you so sure about it, huh?"

"because like I said, 'I have places to be and people to meet' so now let me go." I successfully snatched my hand from his grasp, but I found no success in escaping his piercing gaze I felt behind me as I sought my way through the alley way.

The streets

*sigh* It was almost evening and the temperature was beginning to drop. I take the stole off my head and wrap myself in hopes of keeping myself warm. After walking for a good hour or so, a busy market came into view. Once I got closer to it, the fresh aroma of freshly baked bread and pie reminded me that I still haven't fed myself. I totally forgot about it because of that buffoon Jungkook.

Attracted to the smell, I followed it blindly through the bustling bodies, women arguing over prices, men were either gambling or eyeing any women/girl that walked past them. If she were lucky, they might leave her be otherwise they start catcalling her. The deeper I got into the market, the warmer the temperature went, resulting in me freeing myself from the scarf I had on from earlier. Little did I know, a certain pack of hungry wolves had their eyes set on me the from the moment I began to take the scarf off and who knows, could from way before that too.

"Ciao gorgeous! You! New here?" a decent looking man with a chipped tooth waddled his way towards me whereas I kept walking until he held my wrist to stop me.

"I'm talking sugar so listen. What's your name beautiful?" he winked at me and I felt like choking on my saliva and die. Where are you Jin? I could use some help!

J: hey! I got in a situation back at the HQ. But anyways...what did I miss?

E: HELP ME OUT!!

J: what?! What did you d-

E: JINNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J: Talk your way out and don't do anything which will draw attention towards you, understood?

E: Easy enough

"Now...tell me handsome, is my name more important to you than me? Hmmm." I asked in the best innocent voice I could talk in.

"I don't know, is it more important? Tell you what, why don't you join me and my friends so we can know each other better." By now he released my hand, only to wrap his arm around me. His breath reeked of cheap booze and cigars. I was about to politely refuse until I felt his arm snake towards my lower back and my ass. And then I snapped.

"Tu merde pathétique! How dare you touch me with your scrawny self?" I yelled at him. I mean how dare he!! For a second, his expression was a bit taken aback by my response, but he soon responded with another insult in his native language!

"la puttana! You dare yell at me! You made you life's biggest mistake...you're going to pay for it, big time" Now my nerves began to kick in. I couldn't run away due to the crowd I attracted from my comments.

J: Therefore, you should always listen to me!

E: are you going to keep bragging or will be of some use! Help me out!

J: hmmm...don't get violent. That's my advice. Other than that, save yourself because from what I know about them, they won't kill you, but they can do worse than that. And the townsfolk are useless.

E: you're the one whose useless right now!

J: you! ungrateful child! Fine I'll leave. Good day!

Back to the ongoing situation. I was stranded in a one-on-ten fight which would lead me to hell without a doubt. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. You got this Lyn. but this didn't help. The closer they got, the weaker my knees felt because why wouldn't they, I'm a ballerina not a street fighter. My breath became unstable and in no time, I was hyperventilating. Thoughts began to swim, the men which just now were straight began to wobble like jelly. Just before I collapsed, a face came into view and the world turned black.

?? house

Ughhhhh...my head! I woke up to a throbbing headache. I brought my hand to head as a reflex and used the other to get me up but was pushed back on the pillow with a slight force. That's when my eyes shot open. Where am I? And why do I keep waking up in random places.

"Your awake milady!" a nostalgic voice rang in my ears. JUNGKOOK! I quickly turned my head in the direction of the voice and there he was with a smile on his face.

"what am I doing here and what is this place?"

"I brought you here because you decided to collapse in a middle of a fight. You're lucky I was in the market buying some bread when I heard a girl throwing a tantrum." He raised his eyebrow at me.

"I WAS NOT throwing a tantrum. He started it and I was only prot-"

"-ecting yourself by putting yourself more in danger. I thought you were smarter than that." I didn't know how to respond, so I stayed quiet and continued staring at him.

"and if the situation escalated, you could've at least fought your way out. I mean, your such good talker so throwing a punch or two won't be a deal." He paused and I looked away

"unless...you can't. Is that why you didn't do anything because to me you seemed to be contemplating with yourself in your head." If only he knew I was arguing with a person! I stayed silent, not wanting to talk about myself but under his strong gaze, I gave up.

"Fine! I can't fight. You know why, because I'm a ballerina for god's sake!"

"that explains the shoes. Tell me something, when I brought you home, I tried to take your shoes off, but they won't budge. Why?" And without giving it a second thought I freely spoke.

"That's because they are magic!"
