its the day of the school trip, my mom's driving as per she requested. the call time for us was 4:30 am and im already 10 minutes late.
im not worried coz i don't really wanna go in the first place but unfortunately, i still managed to catch the bus. they delayed the departure time for 30 more minutes.
im sitting near the window with my earphones on so no one would dare to talk to me.
i tried to anticipate this trip but nah, if wheein was her i'd be really happy.
everyone's face was new to me, i think i only know 2-3 of them....because they are my classmates. ~.~
a few more minutes before the departure when i felt someone occupied the seat beside me to my surprise it was yongsun.
i took my earphones out and faced her.
"what are you doing here?" i asked her.
she still putting her seatbelt on.
"The school decided it, as the president of the council they think that i could be a big help to the trip and also to scout some students who are qualified to be in the council," she explained.
i nod my head at her and motioned to put back my earphones when she spoke again.
"i know that you don't want me here and so i am, i'd rather stay at school and deal with a lot of works," she said.
"i didn't mean it that way, i was just asking and surprised." i defend myself.
do i sound like i don't want her here?
"yeah, whatever," she said and rolled her eyes.
what now? she's mad again for what? i don't understand this woman.
i ignored her and plugged my earphones back and the bus starts moving.
from what i heard from wheein, this trip is boring. and i can already feel it. she said that we will just go to a resort and let us do what we want for 2 days. for some it could be fun, but not for me.
i believe that the place where going is 4-hour drive from the school. 4 hours of sitting with this mad girl.
i was looking on the window side the whole time not minding hows everyone's doing. i could feel minimal movement from the girls beside me but i didn't bother to look.
there this bus guide i think? who started to talk about some shit and history about the place where going but no one seems to care about him even the president who is now sleeping comfortably in my shoulders.
i tried to take her head off, i mean from my shoulders, but she keeps falling so i let her be.
the guide announced that will be there soon. everybody gather themselves but this woman is still sleeping like she's in her own room.
i tapped her shoulders lightly to wake her but didn't work. i tried to do it again but she shoved my hands away.
we arrived and everyone started to get off the bus one by one.
"hey, we're here wake up." as i lightly shake my shoulders.
she finally opened her eyes and travelled her sight around the bus.
"where is everyone?" she asked.
"you guess? they are all out, come on now," i said to her.
"why did you not wake me up?!" she exclaimed at me.
"i did! and you just won't. stop screaming at me i want to get off here," i told her as i unbuckle my belt.
she stopped for a while before taking her belts off and walked away. i mentally rolled my eyes as i followed her.
i saw where all the students were and make my way there. i didn't see yongsun nearby which i believe is very good. especially for my mental health.
the guide speaks for a bit before passing the lapel to the school head.
"as all of you know, this trip is almost a tradition of the school. the main goal of this trip is to strengthen your camaraderie and of course to enjoy. i want you to spend your days, filled with enjoyment and bliss. you can do anything you want! the school will cover it." the head announced and the students are going crazy about it.
this school is weird. very.
the head speaks for almost 30 minutes more and i didn't bother to listen to him. i want to rest because my freaking shoulders hurt. thanks to that mad girl.
finally, the talk was over and the guide again steals the attention of the student.
"i know that you are all excited, but before all the fun things, everyone is needed to stay inside their respective room until 11 am where your late breakfast will be served."
the students booed the guide because of that and he seems very embarrassed.
"alright alright, let's wrap up! the one you're sitting within the bus will be your roommates. you can collect your keys at the main front. that's all, for now, students and let's meet again at 11." the guide ended his talk and bowed to us.
can believe i'll be staying with yongsun. i walk my way to the main front before it gets bombarded with students. the receptionist gave me my keys.
i quickly got into the room and to my surprise yongsun was already inside.
i closed the door and went to the other bed. luckily it has two-bedroom, or i might be sleeping on the floor or in the bathroom.
there's no way im sleeping with yongsun.
"yeah i know what you're thinking kid, but i can exchange room with someone else if you're not comfortable being with me in the same room."
"i didn't say anything," i say as i throw myself in the bed.
"why would i be uncomfortable?" i looked at her.
"i don't know straight lad. just being considerate, don't want to give you any awry thoughts," she said.
"i don't get you. anyways imma rest my shoulder hurts so bad," i said. her eyes automatically settled on my shoulders as i soothe it.
"i-im sorry," she said feeling apologetic.
"don't. please wake me up when it's time to eat. thank you." i told her as i close my eyes.
she nods her head still looking guilty. damn im not gonna die from this pain. -.-
