Although it was not the first time Y/N felt lost, it was different this time.
He predicted that convincing the other Pantheons would be difficult, especially the Greeks. He also expected an attack from the Khaos Brigade, but what he did not expect was for his evil counterpart to intervene with his colleagues.
What confused him was that Shadow refused to fight him and sent him elsewhere.
Y/N believed that he would lead him directly to his opponent, yet he was in a limbo-like white space.
"You are..."
Y/N had only once seen the man in front of him, but he remembered him, his mysterious saviour who had asked him to save the world.
"What happened?" Yuto asked frowny.
"I used my divinity to bring you here because I think it's time for explanations," the man replied, "First, I introduce myself. I am Jesus of Nazareth "
Y/N's mouth burst open in amazement. He had always believed that the person who carried him into that dimension was the Biblical God, but he was wrong. Actually, it was his son who took him there and gave him the heroic pieces.
"Until now, I have watched through your eyes everything that has happened, and you have done very well," Jesus was relieved not to have chosen the wrong person to save that dimension, "you have overcome many difficulties with great dexterity and skill."
Jesus had seen the truth of Y/N. Through the memories he had acquired from Archer, God the Son had seen the tortures that the future Y/N had endured in silence.
"However, I put everyone in danger," Y/N felt guilty for creating Shadow. It was not his intention and he finally recognized how blind he had been for the last ten years by saying he was fine. Who didn't hold a grudge against Gilgamesh and who killed him just to stop him from destroying his previous world.
"Light and darkness. Good and evil. They are two sides of the same coin," Jesus said solemnly, "there cannot be one without the other and it is our task to know how to balance them."
The words of the Messiah were enlightening. He had only suppressed the darkness of his soul, allowing it to grow uncontrollably for ten years. And Archer understood that. Archer's real plan was to make him understand this before it was too late.
By the time, he had become attached to many people. Gabriel, Xenovia, Kuroka, his parents and his older sister, Jack and Tamamo. He had earned a lot. They are his family and thanks to them he was now a completely different person from before.
However, he wasn't the only person who got attached to someone. They also loved him. His death would break their hearts.
"I'm not going to break that promise, but now I understand that my life is worth to live," Y/N said in a quiet way, "because many people would be sad if I died in a stupid way like sacrificing myself"
Jesus smiled. He had chosen the right person at the end and proved himself worthy of the power he had preserved since the death of the Biblical God.
"Looks like he proved himself fit at the end."
A man approached Jesus. He was a regal-looking man. He had dark skin and white hair. The skin was decorated with strange black tattoos. He was wearing an elegant red and white dress.
"But you are..." Y/N gasped.
The man nodded his head.
Solomon, son of David. The Wise King of Israel and the King of Magecraft.
This made no sense. Y/N knew that Solomon, or Romani Archaman, or whoever he was, had died in the Grand Temple of Time.
And yet, here it is before his eyes. Alive and well. However, he did not possess the Gifts of God which he had returned to heaven by the use of his third Noble Phantasm.
