-2 months later Rachell pov-

I was scrolling through my Reddit looking at some edits of my video's. Then i scrolled further and saw a fanart of Grey and I. It was me and Grey in Viking armor watching each other's back. I smile and upvote it immediately. "Super cute." I commented happily before scrolling more. Instead of funny edits i see a bunch of fan art about Grey and i. I laugh as one was about Grey's first time doing card swipe. I soon received a Discord invitation from Imani.

"Hello Poki!" I say as i enter the Discord. "Hi Rae! Did you get the new Call of Duty?" She asks and i smile. "Hell yeah i did!" I say excitedly and then Grey joins the Discord too. "What's poppin?" He asks brightly. "Not much about to play some multiplayer on Cold War." I tell him. "Got room for three more?" He asks and i smile. "Yeah we do." Imani says. "Coolio. Let me get my boys in here!" Grey says and two more people join the call. "Yo Jeff. What up Josh?" He says to the two guys earning a yo from them. Soon Courage joins the chat too. "Yo finally a full team!" Grey sighs in relief.

We all load into the game and Jack sent out the invites. Once we all join in i look at Grey's name. "You and your damn foxes." I say and he laughs happily. "They are the best animals." He says and i roll my eyes. "Why are you on your Xbox?" I ask him. "Personally i like playing COD on my console." He says and Jack laughs. "Don't worry I'll carry." Jack says and Grey laughs. "We'll see bud." He says and we get into a search on Miami.

"Josh and Jeff on me. We're gonna rush A to fake plant so Rachell and her group can plant B. Jeff i need you on that Pelington baby, Josh grab that MP5 to rush that fake plant, and I'll cover you with the Stoner." Grey says as the game starts. Imani and Jack are running the MP5 while i use the AK-47. We creep on the left side by the docks.

"Sniper down." Jeff says seriously. "Mid Street!" Grey says and we can hear the gunfire. "Two down Mid and watching for rotations." Grey says. Heading into the garage i see a guy running to the steps. I quickly gun him down as Josh gets the last kill. "Easy round baby!" Grey cheers happily. "What happened Jack?" Grey asks and i can hear Jack growl. "I'll show you!" He yells and rushes ahead.

The game ends with Grey leading the team by playing objective. "We'll call it even alright?" Grey asks laughing and Jack joins in. "Okay buddy." Jack responds. We play for another two hours just laughing and joking around. "Damn G we gotta go!" Jeff says in shock. "Damn. Alright guys see you soon." Grey says as Josh and Jeff get off. "What's going on Grey?" I ask him quickly. "We are on night shift! I'll call you tomorrow!" Grey says and signs off.

I play with them for a few more hours before logging off. I shower and dress in comfy clothes before sitting on my bed. Turning on my TV i switch it over to anime. I look over at the picture of Grey and I again. "Please be careful." I say to myself before falling asleep.

I wake up to my phone ringing and I glare at it. "Hello?" I ask annoyed as i answer the phone. "Rachell." I hear my Mother say calmly. "Mom?" I say confused as i sit up. "Honey. Grey is being sent to the hospital." She says and my eyes widen. "What?!" I yell in fear making Imani and Janet burst into my room. "An Eighteen Wheeler fell asleep and crashed into their work zone! Grey and Jeff are the only survivors! Grey was awake and doing CPR on Jeff when the Emergency personnel arrived! Not long after they pulled him away he passed out! All the EMT's said was that both of them are in critical condition!" She sobs and as she explained the situation, i already started packing a bag. "Mom I'm on my way! I love you!" I tell her and hang up. I start packing my Crosstrek and i get dressed. "Be safe." They say and i hug them tightly. "I'll call you guys when i get there." I tell them.

The drive was already long but the situation made it feel longer. Soon i pulled up to the hospital Grey is in thanks to my Mom. I park and immediately sprint to the doors. "Excuse me!" I say a little loud to get the receptionists attention. "Yes ma'am?" She asks calmly though i could hear the forced kindness. "I need Grey Koi-Len's room!" I say urgently and she looks at me sadly. "Mr. Koi-Len is being kept under due to his injuries. Though you can stay in the room i need you to stay quiet for the other patients." She tells me and i nod quickly before she gives me his room number. I thank her before speed walking towards his room.

I turn the corner to see my Mother talking to Ms.Koi-Len, a girl sits with her head in her hands. "Mom. Is he going to be okay?" I ask as i walk up. "Only time will tell babygirl." She says and i hug Grey's Mother too. "Are you Rachell?" The girl asks and i nod to her. "My name is Kelsey, Jeff's wife." She says and i hug her tightly. "I'm sorry." I tell her and she hugs me back. "Grey saved his life. Jeff is unconscious but he will live. Grey had it bad but even through the pain he saved my man." She cries and i smile. "Grey's always been like that. No matter what's going on in life, he makes it his mission to help others." I tell her and she laughs. "Jeff said the same thing." She says and we talk more. "Mrs.Barns your husband is awake." A nurse says walking out of a room. "Thank you." She whispers and we all walk into the room. "Hey baby." Jeff says weakly and the two kiss. "How do you feel?" Kelsey asks and sits on the bed. "Like shit. How is everyone?" Jeff asks and Kelsey looks down. "You and Grey are the only two who survived." Kelsey whispers softly. "Is he okay?" Jeff asks. "We just got the okay to see him. The Doctors said it was a miracle he was able to do proper CPR on you." Mom says to him. "I guess i owe him twice now. How is everyone else's family taking it?" He asks. "Not well, but they're happy you two survived." Jeff sighs and lays back down. "Thank you all. Go check on G for me." Jeff says and i smile at him. "I will." I respond before walking out and into Grey's room.

I look to see Grey hooked up to machines but breathing on his own. I quietly sit down in the chair and hold his hand. Our Mother's step out to go grab us drinks. "I told you to be careful." I tell him and squeeze his hand. "You fucking bastard. You told me not to worry about you. But i can't help but worry about you. You're so impulsive, you think of others before yourself. I want you to wake up and hug me like you used to. Anytime i was scared you would hug and protect me." I say and start to cry. "Give me a sign you're going to come back to us. They said you'll be fine but i need a sign from you." I cry more and feel my hand being squeezed softly. "Grey?!" I gasp in shock and pay attention to our hands. "Squeeze twice if you can hear me." I say hopefully and feel two squeezes. I begin to cry harder and hug him gently. "Thank you." I whisper softly and hold his hand again. "Are you in pain?" I ask him and he squeezes twice. "Do you need me to get a nurse?" I ask him and he squeezes once. Eventually i went home with my Mom to sleep.

-1 week later-

I walk into the hospital in a cute outfit and a smile. "Good morning Rachell you look cute today." Alexis says from the counter. "Thank you Alexis. I'm here to see Grey." I tell her and she nods. "You know the room. Go and see your boyfriend." She says. "We aren't dating." I say to her and she rolls her eyes smiling. I walk through the hallway and enter Grey's room. "You look cute." I hear a weak voice say and i look to see Grey sitting up. My eyes widen in shock before tears ca me to my eyes. "Am i Dreaming?" I ask him and he smiles. "No. I'm surprised you came all this way to see me." He says gives me his signature goofy smile.

-well the nightmare is over and Grey survived physically. But the loss of so many close to him might have hurt his mental health. Will our loveable Valkyrae be able to fix her bestfriend? Will the two ever just shut the hell up and kiss?! Like seriously Grey! Man the fuck up and kiss her! Sorry ranted there a little bit.
