Alissa and Lydia had scheduled facetimes that they both had decided on but somehow neither of them followed. It was nearing the end of Lydia's Junior year and Alissa senior year. The exams were coming up for them both after the break. Alissa was convinced that if she was still in Beacon Hills, she would have for sure failed some of her AP classes. In Forks the girl has had more time to study here subjects. Lydia on the other hand, while the girl had been studying more she did inform Alissa that things have gotten quiet. Nothing major had happened yet.
She didn't know how long that would last. Everyone had been on high alert after the Deadpool and while the redhead hadn't told her much she did mention something about Derek being fully evolved now. Alissa wanted to ask further, but she was cut off by the girl's shitty network.
Alissa made her way down the stairs where Paul was relaxing on the couch in the living room. The girl ran her hand through her hair as she made her way over to him. Paul was watching the movie An American werewolf in London. It immediately made her think of Jackson who was actually an American werewolf, who's now living in London.
“Why are you watching this?” She joined him on the couch with the bag of popcorn she bought after they left the beach. “I just wanted to watch it since I thought it looked interesting. It's an 1981 old movie.”
“Yeah, it's old. My dad made me watch An American Werewolf in Paris, though. I actually liked it at the time but when I watched it again I realized how bad it really was.”
“All old movies are pretty bad,” Paul comments.
“Yeah, except Titanic. That movie is the only movie that is classic and that is actually good.”
“What about King Kong?” Paul questioned.
“Which one? The 1976 or the 2005?” she asked handing the bag of popcorn to him. “The 1976.”
“Nope. The 2005 one is better. The visual effects were so much better,” Alissa told him. He chuckled nodding. He ate the popcorn and hands it over to her. “So, you actually like sci-fi movies?”
“Yeah. The only one I didn't like was Godzilla. I absolutely hated that film,” Alissa informed him.
“Yeah, that adaption wasn't as good.”Alissa sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder causing the boy to tense up a bit before relaxing. She did it subconsciously that she was completely unaware how loudly the boy's heart was pounding against his rib cage. Her touching him made him suddenly think back to their kiss the other day. Paul didn't know how to mention it, knowing that she was going to be shutting him down for even mentioning it.
