Bella entered Alissa’s room just as she was packing some clothes and necessities into a small bag. Alissa had decided to stay over at Jake’s or Emily’s house for the night since she didn't know how long they intended to party. The girl was hoping they'd stay out late so she wouldn't have to drive back home. It was either going to be at Billy’s or Emily’s. If any of the two said no — there's a very slim chance they'd say no— she'd have to ask Paul if she could crash at his house even though she didn't know how his family was going to take him bringing her over before he had even introduced her to them.

Did any of his family even know he imprinted on her?
That was a conversation for another time.

Alissa glanced up to see Bella standing in her doorway, arms crossed. “Bella. Good morning.”

“Hey. Where are you going?” the girl asked looking at the bag on the bed. Alissa grabbed her slippers, putting it in the bag. “I'm going to the res.”

“Are you going to stay over there?” the Swan girl questioned. “Yeah. It's Paul's birthday, and I'll probably stay over at either Jake's or Emily’s for the night.” The girl's face immediately changed after hearing Jake's name. She knew she hurt Jacob a lot, but she was too damn stubborn and proud to actually go to him and talk to him. Alissa put the bag over her shoulder and she walked out.

“How is he doing?” Bella asked which made Alissa sigh. Jake had told her that he will stay away from Bella seeing as that was what the girl wants.

“Alright, I guess,” Alissa told her as she went to grabs her phone and car keys before walking past Bella.

“Alissa. . .” The huntress stopped in her tracks at the stairs. “Can you tell him I'm sorry,” she whispered and Alissa turned to Bella, shaking his head. “No. I'm not your messenger, you can tell him yourself.”

She walked down the stairs leaving the girl at her bedroom door. Bella sighed, deciding to follow the girl. “Alissa, I know you're still mad at me, and you have every right to be.”

Alissa scoffed, “Do you even know why I'm mad at you?” Alissa questioned the girl. Alissa wasn't even sure if Bella gave her a sincere apology or an apology at all since she honestly doesn't remember.

“You're mad because I left to go to Edward. And I let you worry.”

“I was worried sick, but that's not the reason I'm mad at you. I'm mad because you gave in so damn quickly. I get that you needed so save him, and I'm fine with that. . .” Alissa let out a sigh, and she stared up at her cousin. “But, Bella for those months you were locked up in that room I was worried sick, I thought we were going to lose you. I tried to get you to talk to me, to show a reaction, but you never did that. . .Edward coming back into your life is all it took for you to get out of your depressive state.”
