Chapter-1

'Hey guys !!, this is my first story so please if you see any mistakes somewhere pls notify me,so that I can make corrections.
I hope you all enjoy my Story!!!!

"Kenz , hurry or the food will get cold, I hope you don't want want to receive scoldings from mom this early morning",
My sister called from downstairs, and I could tell she had a smirk on her face .

"Coming"
I yelled from my room, I quickly wore my boots and headed downstairs

"Aha, the queen has now descended the stairs" My sister said this when she saw me making my way downstairs, with this she started serving the food on the plates.

"Where is dad "
I asked as I made my way to the seat next to my mom .
"Honey, your dad has an important meeting to attend so he couldn't join us for breakfast"
I just nodded my head to what my mom has just said. I was not surprised at all because it's not like this was the first time he didn't join us for breakfast, he always skips breakfast saying he has something urgent at work. My dad is the kind of workaholic you know.

"Honey sit down and eat your food or else you will be late for school today"

My mom said this with her hands gestured at the seat next to her. I sat down and began to eat my sandwich with chocolate drink quietly. My mum is a nurse, whereas my dad is a business man.
My sister cleared her throat, I looked up at her from where I was sitting.
" What" , I snapped

"Why, can't I clear my throat", she asked me, I didn't answer her and continued eating my food.

"Hurry and eat fast so that we can go to school, and besides I don't think you would like to give a bad impression on your first day of school"

My sister remarked and focused on her food pretending she never said anything,
I gave her a glare . She was really getting on my nerves today. She was right about me not trying to get to the bad books of the principal on my first day of the school we were to attend.
" You better mind your own business"
I told my sister
"And besides its now 7:15 so what's the rush Clara!"
" Really, its better you finish early and relax rather than stuffing the food in your mouth out of pressure and I know you are no exception of that kind!"
" What do you mean by I'm no exception!", I questioned Clara.
"You know Pimchi, I don't need to remind you" she replied and this time around, she wasn't eating her food, she was looking at me with a innocent face, as though she didn't say anything wrong.
"You know I don't like you calling me that!".
"What" she asked innocently as though she doesn't know what I was talking about.
Come on!, you know what-"
I didn't even finish my sentence when my mum interrupted.

" Girls!!, stop fighting already okay, today is a new day and you are welcoming it with an argument,you all should be ashamed of yourselves,within 30 minutes you all should be on your way to school, understand!!"

Clara and I nodded our heads slowly. I could tell my mom was upset from the way she was speaking to us. It shocked me at first when she started speaking to us in an angry tone, she has never spoken to us in that tone before, I guess she was already upset with something before we added our troubles to it making it worse. After my mom scolded us, there was silence in the room, we finished our breakfast quick. I stood up to go and prepare for school but my mom stopped me

" Not so fast kenz, where do you think you are going,since Clara was the one that prepared the food, Kenz you are the one to wash the dishes so I suggest you do it before going upstairs"
