Chapter 5

What's wrong with this silver eyed guy,I said to myself. I hate him!!, I shouldn't let him ruin my mood and besides I have to explore the school, l headed to my locker and placed my book inside. I started to walk around the school, wow the school is very nice , no wonder people are dying to attend this school and besides its kind of a very huge school. As I was exploring the school, the bell rang so I headed to the cafeteria. I entered and went for my food , I didn't know where to sit because almost all the seats were occupied.

"Hey, come join me"
A girl sitting alone on a seat called out to me
I went to join her.

"My name is Samantha but I prefer Sam, and you are..."

"McKenzie" I said

"Okay Kenz, nice meeting you , so are we friends"
"Yeah,sure" I said

We started eating our food and Sam begun telling me about the school, her life and all the basic friends are to know from each other, I also told her about myself and my alma matter . After lunch, it was like I knew Sam for like 20 years. I got to know that she was also in her 2nd year and we all share the same classes. Wait, I didn't see Ace and he who shall not be named, I hope you already know who I'm talking about, I mean Mr Iron face, anyway its not like I even care about him. Soon, we closed from school, I went to my locker to get some books I'll be needing when I go home, after taking my books, I went to see if I would find my sister so that we all could go home but I didn't find her, I saw Sam exiting from one of the class, I went to her

"Hey, are you heading home" I asked her

"Yea, are you also heading home"

"Yeah"

"Okay, then let's go"

We left the school together and headed for our homes . Sam and I chatted till we reached the junction where she will branch and go home . We made an agreement to meet at that junction and go to school everyday because, her house was only a few blocks from mine. I went home, when I entered the house , I saw my parents watching television in the living room. I greeted them

"Honey, how was your day"
My mum asked

"Oh it was great" I said, I didn't want to ruin their happy moments so I didn't go further.

"Where is Clara" I asked my parents

"She came home early but he went out to a friend's place" My mom spoke

"Okay then, I'll be in my room"

"Okay"

I went to my room upstairs, I took a shower and decided to call Sam who gave me her number when we were coming home

"Hello girl" she answered the phone.
Lemme ask Sam about Mr. Iron Face, she has stayed in this school pretty long so she will definitely know him.

"Yea, I called to ask you If you knew about a silver eyed guy"

"Yea, are you talking about Nick Graham , the most feared guy in school"

What!!, he is the most feared guy in school, Oh my gosh, what have I done , I crossed path with this guy, I'm sure my life is going to turn from a peaceful one to a horrible one. I have to think of something very quickly, am dead as a hen ready to be slaughtered for Christmas.

"Kenz, it's time for dinner come downstairs"

My mom called

"Looks like you have to go and eat" Sam said

"Yeah, see you tomorrow okay,"

"Bye girlie"

I hanged up the call and went downstairs to eat. I saw that Clara was already seated, but when did she come, I asked myself.

"Clara, you told me you will see me after school but when I came you were no where to be found!"

I told her and asked her at the same time whilst making my way to the seat next to her.

"Oh, chill sis OK, the thing is that you see, I'm in my final year , and I've been very busy with my studies and besides I won't be seeing you very often sake of my studies. I know you have made new friends so I suggest you go to school with them and hang around them okay. Trust me I'm really sorry for not meeting you after school, we kind of closed early today."

My sister said this whilst preparing her plate for dinner. "Okay , I have heard you, but how did you know I have made a new friend" I asked her when I sat down beside Clara

"Oh come on kenz, don't I know my sister, you can take it as a prediction I made" She said this with a grin on her face.

"Okay"

We ate our dinner, I was the first person to finish my food, if my dad is workaholic , then am also foodaholic,I hurried upstairs so that I can take a very good rest and think of how I'm going to face the silver eyed vicious but handsome looking guy, I guess I'm already in his bad books because of what I did to him today, but who cares

Am not afraid of you Mr. Iron face, am also a tough girl you know.
