A Mermaid's Kiss

The First Transformation.

The next morning

Coral woke up and got off the floor. She stretched and looked over at Josiah. She whispered "Wow!" Trying not to be loud, she walked over to Josiah. Then she thought Oh crap. He's gonna kill me! She stood over Josiah and thought about what she should do. She decided to wake him up. She gently shook Josiah.  He opens his eyes and sits up "Coral? What are you doing? Why do I sound weird?"

Coral responded "You might want to go look in your mirror." Josiah said in a confused tone "Ok?" He walked to his mirror and struggled a bit. He didn't know why. His body felt different. He looked in the mirror. He was shocked silent. Then he freaked out. Josiah screamed "AGGHHHHH!!!! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO ME??!!!

Coral sighed and responded, "Isn't it obvious? You're a woman now! I told you this was going to happen." Josiah was furious and was using everything in him to not punch her at that very moment. Josiah yelled at her, "I KNOW I WAS GOING TO BECOME A GIRL! JUST NOT THIS FAST!” Coral responded in a calmer tone and said, "Girl transformation is the first step, then the rest of your powers come in later on." Josiah was really scared. His whole life just got flipped upside down. But Josiah  was somehow able to calm down. He sighed and said, "Lets just go downstairs." Coral responded "All right." 

They walked downstairs and Josiah's parents were sitting on the couch. Josiah's mom said "Good morning you two!" Then they saw Josiah in his new body. Josiah's dad was perplexed and said, "Whoa." Coral grinned and responded, "Yeah I know. This is the first part of Josiah's transformation. And he- I mean she needs a new name. Josiah doesn't fit anymore." The mom’s face lit up and said, "I know! Desire!" Desire's dad said "I like it honey!" Desire said, "Well I don't!" But the thing is she did, she just didn't want to admit it. Coral responded, "Well too bad, that is your new name."

Desire plopped on the couch in frustration. There was no way to change their minds. She knew that by this point. Then she said, "So what else is going to happen to me, Coral?" Coral crossed her arms and responded, "I'm not going to tell you because of how you acted today. So you will now have to wait and see." Desire was annoyed at this and said, "Fine. But you better help me still." Coral responded, "Of course I will! I promised you!" Desire was relieved and said, "Good." Then she looked down and said "These clothes are very uncomfortable." Coral responded "Well duh! You need new clothes! These clothes are to small for your new...proportions." Desire laughed and said "Of course. I have to wear girl clothes now.” Coral responded, "Yep! To the mall we go! I need some new clothes as well. I didn't bring any with me." 

Desire's mom said at the last minute before they left, "I'm coming with you guys!!"

Desire thought This is my worst nightmare.
