A Queens Gambit Christmas Character story (ALL TQG CHARACTERS)

Part 5

"I will never complain about this flat being cold again" he says quickly getting his snow covered clothes off and getting back into his robe and jeans. I put away the shopping and got sorted on the floor with a pillow each for me and benny to sit on, as we sorted out the things he had to give to people taking prices off and cutting paper the correct sizes slowly wrapping everything, well I was wrapping and he was writing on tags "how do you do the ribbons?" He asks I giggled getting the ribbon as I finished wrapping this box and tieing the ribbon around making a little bow "Nope... still witchcraft" He says

"Here, have a cookie to make you feel better" I smiled offering him the cookie plate

"Ooh may I have a man shaped one?"

"Yes you may" I smiled handing him one of the man shaped cookies "you going to eat all his limbs off before you put him out of his misery?" I laughed

"It is the christmas way" He answered as he ate the legs off the little cookie man then his arms and then finally bit his head off

"Are we all done?" I asked as we finished with the last present

"That should be all of them" he says "Except yours"

"Do you want me to go to bed while you wrap mine?" I smiled

"No I'll do it tomorrow at some point" He explained

"Alright, put them all under the tree and lets get to bed" I smiled "You have to pick beth and Jolene up at the airport tomorrow" I remind him

"I know" he sighed "May I have another cookie? Before bed?"

"One more cookie. Then no more else you won't sleep" I tell him

"I'll sleep"

"Benny do you have any idea how much sugar is in these?" I asked, having a cookie myself when he took his last one. Taking the plate of cookies and putting it on the table

"No..." he says

"Lots now bed" I told him as I headed to bed too.
