Omniscient POV
Anita ran out the building after the shots was fired. She fell to her knees as she realized Michelle and Brice was shot down. She screamed for help as tears came from her eyes. She immediately grabbed her phone and call 911. Desiree walked outside to see what's causing Michelle and Brice so long to walk in. She saw Nita and started doing CPR on Brice since his pulse was fainted. Michelle body was still in shock. She wasn't fatally shot, after her body Finish responding to the shock she should be good. The paramedics finally showed up and on time.
Desiree POV
August placed some video cameras around the restaurant for extra security. Since Michelle put Jacolby and the detective in jail she needs to be secured 24/7. Jacolby is going to do everything he can to hurt her. I told August to have bodyguards around my baby. Jacolby is very powerful just like August and his crew. Maybe we should move them to a new state. I know she love it here in Denver, but I'm moving her to Cali, so August and I can watch over her personally. When it comes to my goddaughter and Grand child I get trigger happy.
I'll lay my life down for them. I made a promise to Michelle mother and I plan on keeping my promise. When you're doing good, the devil always get mad and try to steal your joy. This will past and I know Michelle and Brice will recover. We just got her back and Jacolby trying to take her from us again. It's crazy how people show their true colors after the fact. It was all to good to be true. Jacolby wants war with us and we definitely are going to give it to him.
Michelle POV
Mama where are we? Nita replied," the hospital honey ". Is the baby ok? All I could remember is Brice covering me and the baby up while shots were fired.Nita responded ,"Yes, you and the baby are alright, but Brice is on his second surgery". How many times did Brice get shot? Nita answered, "6 times honey,". My heart felt like it broke in a hundred pieces. I knew I loved Brice, but I didn't think I loved him this much. I never felt love like this since my mother died.
Brice POV
Where am I? All I see is white pearly gates. Don't tell me I done slipped up and died. Brice what you doing here man? I was about to ask you the same thing G. Why am I here? You were shot & you're in a coma. You have a little girl to take care of and protect. You can't come here with me. They are depending on you to be a provider and a protector. Keep your head up and be strong for the family you're building. Please go back before your wife put to much stress on your beautiful baby.
I have to try and fight this coma. I need to be there for Michelle and our daughter. She doesn't know it's a girl yet, so I'm going have to act surprise when we find out the gender. I can't wait to wake up out this to be with my woman. I know she hurting. Through these months we've grown stronger than ever and our bond is very close and I value her so much. She doesn't have a clue on how much I love her. I know I have to keep fighting to be alive she needs me more than ever.
If I don't wake up now, she will be heart broken. I don't want my little girl to grow up without a father. I want to teach her things, send her prom and walk her down the isle for her big day. I know I'll over come this and be the man they need me to be. Wake up Brice, please wake up is all I could hear. I'm struggling to open my eyes, but I had strength to move my hand a little bit. I could feel tear drops fall on my hand. I wanted to open my eyes so Michelle can stop crying.
I finally gain enough consciousness to opened my eyes. Michelle started hollering for the doctor and I gently helped her in the hospital bed and rub her belly. I kissed her on the forehead and told her I'll never leave her even if she tell me to. I'm going to always be here for her and the baby and I'm definitely going to stand on my word. Baby I love you with everything in me honestly and I'll never take you for granted again Brice.
Michelle POV
I wasn't shot bad, you took most of the bullets for me and the baby. I thank you for that baby. You are an amazing man and I know you're going to be a good father. You're truly my dream man. Give me one more kiss and help me under the cover. We all need a nap after this horrible day. My god father has us under watch 24/7 until you recover and he's personally watching us. No snakes allowed. I'm sorry I drug you into this and this crazy mob family. We look out for each other and beside I hid a .22 in the room incase some sneaky shit pop off.
My nanny friend is a nurse here, so she'll be your personal nurse and take care of your wounds. I'm just so happy that you're alive baby. I don't know what I'll do without you. I love you and I appreciate you. I know you do baby, now lets go to sleep and by the way Michelle its going to be a girl.
