Kabanata 19

I hurriedly ran downstairs after Manang told me that my parents were finally here.

Wala na akong ikakasaya pa, nakalimutan ko lahat ng problema at ipinagliban nalang.

"Mommyyy!!! Dad!!!" I screamed And went to hug them.

"Hi how are you?"mom asked and hug me, ewan ko pero nakaramdam ako ng lungkot, parang hindi sila masaya na makita ako.

But anyways they're still here, I'm totally fine with that.

"It's not full until today mommy. Let's celebrate about my recognition mom, sadly you're not here when I received my award." I said after I kissed her cheek.

"I see, you know honey we're tired about our trip, let's celebrate the other day,okay."she said and pull her valise and their other suitcases.

"It's fine mom, Of course you will rest first. "I'm trying my best not to sound sad about it. Like it's just okay, they're tired I know.

But I can't help to think if they were just tired or they have no time for me?

Mom just nodded and went upstairs, then my eyes went to dad who was just smiling at me.

"Hey dad, you can rest too, I know you're tired."I smiled bitterly.

"I'm sorry princess We can't celebrate for now, we have so much works to do. I promise we can celebrate later, okay?"he said tapping my head and kissed my cheeks.

So yeah they're tired for now.

On my way to school, I checked my phone if Zach was online to his social media account, but i see no sign of him in my active list. I ended up texting Sweden if Zach was already in school.

"Wala pa siya friendship,sabi ni kuya anton baka absent daw."

"Ah ganon ba? Sige excuse mo nalang ako ah sabihin mo may sakit ako."

"O-okay? Pupuntahan mo siya?" she asked.

"I want to talk to him."

"Is this all about the misunderstanding thingy? I'm sorry okay."

"Yes it was all about it, and I'm gonna talk to him to clarify things...and also to say... to say sorry to him."

"Hmm....sige Ako na ang bahalang mag excuse sayo, sabihin ko nalang na nasagasaan ka."

"Baliw wag, nakakahiya."I can't help my self from laughing, why would she say that?

"Joke. Sige bye na andyan na si sir."paalam niya at binaba na ang linya.

"Ah manong jan lang po kila Zach."

"Sasakay ba siya?"tanong ni manong.

"Uhm... kakausapin ko lang po, pwede na po kayong umuwi, ihahatid niya na lang po ako sa school.

"Sigurado ka ba diyan hija? Baka kung saan saan ka na naman pupunta, papagalitan ako ni mam at sir niyan, marami pa namang masasamang nangyayari ngayong panahon."

"Si manong talaga oh, manong ilang beses na akong nakapunta rito, promise walang mangyayaring masama."binigyan ko pa siya ng "kasiguraduhan-look".

"Oh siya basta wag kang magtatagal, malapit nang mag alas otso oh." Aniya sabay tingin sa kaniyang wristwatch. Napatingin din ako sa akin.

"Manong it's still 7:15 am, kaka seven palang po."

"Basta wag kang magtatagal talaga ha. Sige na."napangiti ako nang buksan ko na ang backseat at tuluyan nang lumabas.
