I woke up to the smell of bacon, I walked down stairs to see all the guys eating breakfast. I sat down beside Ryan and he passed me a plate.

"So Nicole, what time is your flight?" Ms. Miller asked from the kitchen.

"I believe it's at 3:30 but I'm not positive. But it is in the afternoon." I answered.

"Wait you aren't coming home with us? Ryan asked looking at me.

"Umm no, I have to get home now, but umm I think that Dylan is coming with me?" I looked at Dylan.

"Umm yea, sorry that I didn't tell you guys, but I think it is for the best that I go with Nicole." He said.

"Well okay I guess that we will see you in a couple days." Ryan seemed to be a little edgy.

I hopped out of the truck and grabbed my bag out of the back, our flight was leaving in an hour. Dylan and I had decided to catch an earlier flight, my brother wasn't doing as well as we had thought he would be doing.

We arrived at the hospital and as we walked thought the front doors to see my entire family their, I knew what had happened.

"I can't do this, I can't!" I yelled and walked out. I got in my truck and just sat there as I realized I didn't have the keys.

"Nicole you need to do this." Dylan said.

"I can't, you know as well as I do that he is dead and there is nothing that we can do about it anymore, I just don't want to go see his body." I started to cry.

"Nicole scoot over and let's go for a drive." He climbed into the drives seat as I moved over.

We drove for half an hour and when I saw where we were I couldn't help but smile a little bit through my tears. The track sat in front of me calling me home.

"The bikes are here and they are set up, I called the guys this morning." He looked over at me and smiled. "We will get through this, and I know that you just need some time to clear your head."

We rode around the track for hours, until the sun set and they wouldn't let us ride anymore.  As Dylan pulled into my drive way memories started to fill my mind.

"Can we just sit on the front porch for a while?" I asked him.

"Of course, you know I can stay as long as you want." He sat down on the step and I guess I fell asleep a short time after that, because I woke up the next morning tucked in my bed.
