Part 22: A Letter to Humankind

They ask if we are okay,

but who says they care?

They expect such an answer,

that would make us ones of

deceit,

that would make us people of

lies.

Society, have you not damaged us enough?

Pain, have you not consumed us, and made out souls shriveled aconite,

so full of hatred, and fire?

Judgment, have you not changed us? The way we look, the way we think, the way we act. We fear the grasp of judgment, we fear the staring eyes, and what they must think, and we fear, what we fear the most is ourselves.

Love, what are you?

You are an ally to pain,

An ally to anger,

An ally to hatred,

and an ally to peace.

Love, can you deny that you are not two-faced?

You bring us peace, you bring us joy,

you bring everlasting, mourning, grieving, pain.

Some say you are good,

Some say you are bad,

but we can all agree,

you are all but fair,

you are all but lies,

and you are all but truths.

For when you're here,

Cupids arrow will always shoot

at a person of aconite.

Love can bring the hatred to a rest,

but fire blazes the most when you add

more sticks of failure.

And you, do you think I've forgotten about you, humankind?

Humankind is just skin and bones,

but they are also,

society,

and they are also,

pain,

and they are,

anger,

hatred,

love,

joy,

lies,

and

truth.

So why do you blame it on them? Don't you understand, that sometimes are them?

So, this was a journey to write. I don't know where any of these words came from, but I started to write, and then I wrote my tears. There is a lot of symbolization, and morals in this poem, and I understand many people don't agree with this. However, I  will still post it, and see what you think. Also, we will have a Q & A session for the next chapter, post any of you questions right..
