[A Week After]

Hayley threw up in her bathroom toilet, groaning afterwards. "Oh come on. What is it, love?" Klaus walked inside standing next to her. She looked up at him with tired eyes. "This is the third time I've thrown up this week. Do you need me to do anything? Keep at least 5 feet away so I don't puke on you."

Klaus laughed at her response. He leaned down and placed a hair behind her ear. "How about you go to the doctor? What doctor is gonna help with a wolf sickness? We don't know you're sick. Might as well be." She groaned before leaning into his warm hand. "Okay then. How about you get some rest and if you're feeling terrible tomorrow then we go to the doctor? Fine." Klaus helped Hayley to stand before picking her up and walking her into his room and laying her down.

He kissed her forehead and smiled. "Enjoy your rest, Little Wolf. You're not staying? Elijah and I have business to take care of with the vampires. Rebekah and Freya will be here if you need anything. Okay." Hayley nodded before closing her eyes and Klaus watched her. He waited until he heard her steadied heart which indicated she was asleep, before leaving.

He walked downstairs and spotted Elijah waiting. "Come brother. Marcel said the vampires are getting out of hand." Klaus said and Elijah nodded. "Where's Hayley? Sleeping. Why? I wished to say goodbye but if she is sleep I won't disturb her. Come." Klaus and Elijah left the compound and took Klaus' car to where the vampires are all gathered.

Pulling up at Marcel's home outside of town, he entered unannounced and was surprised to see not a vampire besides Marcel in sight. "Set them straight by yourself have you?" Marcel turned to him with a cup of whiskey and a confused face.

"What do you mean? The vampires are just fine. Then why did you send us a message to help you control them? I never sent a message. Then who...," Klaus trailed off before realizing what exactly happened.

"Klaus? What is it? This was a distraction! Elijah come on we don't have much time." Klaus grabbed his brother's wrist and Marcel followed. "If you're suggesting what you think you are suggesting, then I'm coming." Marcel shrugged on his jacket and they left all together.

They arrived at the compound too late. Rebekah laid on the ground, a glass table broken right next to her. An arrow stood up out of her back. Freya also laid out but next to the couch. "Hayley. Hayley!" Klaus ran up the stairs and busted into his room and saw that it was destroyed.

His lamp was knocked over, his bed was shambles and his sheets were torn. Scratches were on the floors and headboard.

"No...," Klaus leaned against the door, feeling heartbroken. She was gone. "What would the witches want with her? She hasn't done anyrhing to them has she? It doesn't matter." Klaus stood taller, anger boiling up in him. "I'm going to get her back." Pushing past them both he ran back down the stairs. Elijah and Marcel glanced at each other before rushing after him.

[Hayley]

I struggled in their grip as they strapped me to the stone table. "Let go of me!" I yelled and screamed moving my body and head until someone laid my head back. It was a redhead. "Who are you? Genevieve. And you are Hayley. What does that mean to you?" I asked between gritted teeth still squirming. "Have you felt sick lately? Why do you want to know? It has nothing to do with you does it? It will Hayley. It will." Then, she waved her hand over my eyes and I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was in a different room. It was filled with cushions and pillows. And I was covered up with comforters. Sitting up, I saw that my room was clean and bright. A knock was at my door making me look up. The red head entered. I think her name was Genevieve. "Where am I? Somewhere away from the chaos. What do you want Genevieve? Listen to the world around you. Really listen. Why?" I asked but she didn't answer.

Sighing, I listened closely and heard both of our heartbeats and was about to ask what she wanted again before hearing another heartbeat. It was small, frail, and coming from...

I gasped. No. It's impossible.

I pressed my hand to my stomach feeling the heartbeat. "Are you saying...,"

I looked up at Genevieve and she nodded. "Yes Hayley. You're pregnant. What does that have to do with you? Nothing, but has everything to do with you and his plan."

Genevieve pointed to the door and Hayley gasped at who entered.

"Jaiden."
