Chapter 24
Sally stood in the mirror and looked at her dress, her hair, her makeup.  She wanted to look perfect for her soon to be lover.  She looked at each piece of her dress, shoes, jewelry, makeup and inspected them thoroughly for perfection.  "Outside of my own bride you are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on and I know that Hotah will feel you are number one of the beauty charts." Harry was standing in the doorway looking at her smiling with his arms crossed.  "Thanks Harry, I just want everything to be perfect for him.  He is the most important thing in my life and I want to be everything he dreams of in a bride."  Harry walks over to her and smiles down at her, "You were already that before the dress and decorations my dear, take it from a man who is already in love and has already been there done that!  You're perfect for him and that is why he wants you to be his bride for life."  Sally looked back into the mirror and shook her head yes while smiling ear to ear.  She knew Harry was right, and she felt blessed to be loved so deeply by a man she adored and loved more than herself.  She looked over at the bed and saw the letter laying there from her father, addressed as ''my Sally on her wedding day'.  Sally looked up at Harry and asked if he would sit with her while she read it.  "I haven't put on my mascara yet, just in case I cry a little."  Harry went over to the bed and picked the letter up.  "Do you want me to read it or you?"  Sally looked at him, "You read it, maybe I can keep my composer better if you do it."  Sally sat down as best she could on the chair in the room.  Harry opened the letter and began to read...

' To my little girl who would now be a grown woman,
I am broken-hearted at the thought of me not being able to walk my baby down the aisle.  Right now you're just a little one still and the idea of you being a grown woman and getting married is hard to even imagine.  However, I will try.  I picture a woman as smart, beautiful, and amazing as your mother in her gorgeous gown looking in the mirror.  I am hoping my best friend Harry is standing behind you telling you how beautiful you are. (He better be anyway!)  You my dear are going to start a new life.  A life where you become one flesh with a man that you love and who loves you enough to marry you.  Life won't be easy or perfect, but it can be good with a lot of hard work and dedication.  Put each other first, love each other fully and never assume that love alone will carry you through.  Put your relationship before all other human relationships and keep God the center of it.  Honor your man, respect and love him.  Have patience and long suffering with him in those difficult times.  Guys can be stupid sometimes, hang in there while God works things out in them.  I will expect Harry to keep him straight and protect you.  I hope he is seeing this letter too and if not make sure he reads it!  Life will bring ups and downs but if you hold on to each other right and put each other first I promise with God's guidance you can literally do anything.  God made a husband and wife relationship to be the most intimate and close relationship on earth outside of the God and humanity relationship.  Take it seriously.  Talk often, go out on dates, (it's weird to say this but..) make love often and find refuge, hope, peace and joy in each other's bodies.  Sex was made to keep a man and woman close and connected at a spiritual level.  It is good, it is important and it is needed to stay healthy in your marriage.
Sally please kiss your mother for me and tell her She is the most beautiful woman alive in my eyes.  Tell her I am sorry I can not share in this moment with her.  Tell her I will be waiting for her with Jesus.  Tell her to enjoy your happiness today.
I love you both,
Daddy'

Harry was almost outright crying, tears fell from his face and onto his suit.  He grabbed a napkin from the side table beside the bed.  He was so glad he was right here in this place and knew he didn't want to be anywhere else on the earth.  He was honored to walk his best friend's little girl, now grown woman, down the aisle.  He was happy he was with her now, sharing this moment.  He had a small regret start to rise up in his mind for not starting a relationship with her sooner.  He dismissed it and chose to focus on the goodness God was doing in the moment. He missed his friend like he hadn't in a long time.  The entire situation was almost too emotional for him.  He said a prayer in his head to God for making sure his path ended up right here in this place.  This was where he was meant to be right now.  He was beyond honored, beyond grateful, and beyond blessed.  He remembered that the lawyer had given him a letter for this day as well.  He would hold onto it until Sally could get her composure.  He understood why crying was not her ideal activity with her makeup all done and her not wanting red swollen eyes on her wedding day.  He was happy they had 30 minutes before she had to worry about going out there.
