Agowilt (n.)- Unnecessary fear.

Georges P.O.V

I'm starting to realize Millie is like a box placed under lock and key but the key is thrown somewhere in the dark surrounding space of her mind. You can search for the key and be so lucky to find it and unlock the box.

But you soon find out that's there's another, this one is tied with leafy green vines. You think it'll be easy until you try to grab them and it cuts your hand. It has thistle thorns halting your progress and making you move slower than before.  You'd spend your entire life trying to carefully unloop every knot and unlock every box but you would still never get to her. Too the real Millie.

If there's one thing I do know about her is that you can't force her to do anything. She needs to find the key and hand it over herself. She has to cut the thistles then tell me how to untie the vines. Millie has to want to open up.

I've come to this conclusion due to the fact that I'm almost 57% sure Millie is lying to me. It used to be 20% an hour ago so, progress. I have no reason to believe she's lying but I think she is. Maybe I'm just hoping she is so I don't have to admit that she really did forget.

Would it make any difference if she remembered or not?

No. I guess it wouldn't make a difference since that means Millie lied because she wants to forget it ever happened.  But then that goes back to the reason as to why she wants to forget.  I give myself a headache trying to figure out what goes on in that mind of hers.

Last night Millie handed me the key to a box I didn't even know was there. Yes she may have drunkly done it but now that she I stare at the next box covered in horned vines but Millie is nowhere in sight.

Now all I can do is hope and wait for her to come back with Shears to cut the vines.

I don't think it'll happen again if we're being honest but that won't stop me from digging my hands in the vines hoping I don't bleed to much or even worse cause the unlocked box to lock once more.

"Where is Millie?" Fred asks pulling me from my thoughts and turning my head to him.

"No idea, she's usually here by now," I state sitting on the fountain and looking around. We're in the courtyard by the clock tower waiting for Millie. She's 30 minutes late.

She's never late.

"Needs to hurry, I'm fucking starving" Fred huffs sitting beside me, starting to pick his nails. Somethin he does when he's bored.

Quidditch tryouts were supposed to end an hour ago, so she should be here. Millies late for a lot of things since she has this rule about being on time for events but she's always here before us when it comes to our Hogsmeade trips.

Actually, we were late since Fred convinced me to take a "quick" smoke break in the upstairs corridors which ended up being an hour and a half long and ended with us almost getting caught by Flich.

I excepted to walk out and see millie with her arms crossed ready to scold Fred like a disappointed parent for being late but instead we found no one. Which Fred was happy about blabbing on about "How the tables have turned."
