I told Hunter to step out of the room and let me get dressed. It was a party so I wore black skinny jeans with rips in the legs, a black and purple sparkly tank top, a dark purple leather jacket, cropped in half. And my black knee boots. My hair was slicked back and my makeup simple but a smoky eye. When I finished I stepped out of the room. Hunter noticed me and his eyes became wide. I didn't know what he was thinking. So I went to him. I laid my head on his.
"Nix, you look so perfect, this party will not know what hit it when you walk in."
"Thank you, Hunter, you are truly my best friend, I just hope we fine a spell to break your curse so we can talk face to face."
"Me to, I want to hug you so bad."
"That would be nice."
"What would," Lucy asked coming in a similar attire but with gold.
"Nothing, um, you look good," I said. She returned the compliment. Luna walked in with a very tight red dress and heels. Cassie wore a knee length black and green dress fitted to her figure. Sarah wore a white dress but with a black half jacket. And Kiera wore a pair of leather black pants, a red crop top, and some 3inch heel boots. Everyone looked good.
"Well I'd say we all look like a million dollars, but we all know that is way to low," I laughed. The rest laughed too. We were ready.
We all walked together to Brady's room. We weren't sure what to expect. But it couldn't be good if he tried to stop us from reaching Ashton. He knew what Ashton would do if it weren't allowed. But that's not what scared me. And Hunter knew also. He felt it. Something was going on. We all go to the door and knocked twice. The door opened and in the door was a green and purple portal like door. Keeping anyone not aloud, out. Luna and Kiera were the first ones to step in. Then Cassie and Sarah. I told Lucy to go ahead. She did. My head laid against Hunters.
"Are you sure about this," he asked.
"As long as you can go in and are with me," I said. He sighed and nodded. I told him to go before me. He did and passed through. I started to put my hand through but it zapped me.
It wasn't allowing me inside. What was this? A trap for my friends? I had to tell Ashton! This wasn't good. I couldn't go in and something was wrong. Something wasn't right. I didn't want them trapped in there. This was horrible. I knew something bad would happen. I had to go to Ashton. I turned to walk away and there were 3 wolves in my face. And one demon. And what looked like a warlock? They were standing here looking at me.
"Well, it's about time you lost that mutt," I heard from behind me. I turned to see Brady. He trapped them in that room! To get me alone! Wait, for what?
"You're plan was to trap them, but for what?"
"Oh Phoenix, you're the one who's trapped, four against one, I love these odds," he said. They wanted me? But what did I do?
"But why?"
"Nothing personal, but you seem like you needed space, believe me I don't want this either, but you ruined a lot more than just your reputation."
"Brady, what are you talking about," I asked. He snickered.
"Your boy toy? Lucy's brother," he stopped, "The only way to reverse him, you have to kill the one who did it."
"What makes you think I believe you," I asked him. He shook his head.
"Believe me, or not, it's true, and the good news it that we can help with that," he said pointing at all of his minions.
"What's your plan," I said.
"I help you, you help me, I scratch your back, you scratch mine," he said. That couldn't be good.
"I'm good, dealing with demons is dumb and dangerous," I said. He laughed.
"Not as dumb as racking your brain to find your wolf a cure for this curse , but keep working on that," he said. I rolled my eyes. He was annoying. And I didn't like him much right now. He didn't understand the what the word "sincere" meant. And I was sincere about helping Hunter.
"Look, I don't care about your stupid offer, to help, but what I do care about is my friends, so let them out, and maybe I'll think about it," I said. I was obviously going to say no. He looked at the boys who shrugged. Now in human form.
"Okay I'll tell you what, I'll let them go, and you think about it, but if you say no, I will put them back in this, fantasy world of theirs, and they won't be able to come back out until you do my a favor," he said. I rolled my eyes. Wait a second?
"Did you say fantasy world?"
"Indeed, the warlock helped me make it, each one is in a world where they choose what they want to do, who they want to be, like a dream come true, the twist is, they get to witness one thing that they could never withstand to live with," he said. So torture?
"Your making them suffer in the end?"
"I am, only because, I want them to know what it's like, to loose something they care about," he said. He smirked. I backed up because he was becoming uncomfortably evil.
"So you want to know what Sarah fears," he asked. I shook my head.
"She fears loosing Lucian," he said. Wait a second?
"That's right Lucian has been coming to Sarah and she's been avoiding you at all cost, and Lucy, she's afraid of loosing her brother, Luna is scared of becoming uncontrollable, Cassie fears being evil, Keira fears loosing herself to her demon side and Hunter-"
"STOP."
"What's wrong afraid Hunter might not feel the same about you, I know how you feel, the way you look at him, he protects you and you love it, Ashton might not say anything but it hurts him, and Hunter is just a clueless as the rest of them," he said. Just then a loud voice rang out.
"BRADY!!"
"Ashton."
