Twenty

The night of the assassins. I laughed at my own joke. This was it though. The night we would break Hunters curse. It was exciting. I was to Excited. Lucy told me to calm down. I couldn't. I know it sounded crazy, but I couldn't sit still. I was to wild about seeing Hunter. But I was nervous. For the first time In months I was going to see Hunter. The guy I was falling for. He was in there. I hoped we could pull it off.

I dressed in a yellow and orange jumpsuit. It was leather and fitting. It would definitely fit this occasion. I hadn't killed a live person before. But for Hunter I would. He was my rock. For so long I had leaned on him. And since the night we met, I knew we would be close. I decided to meet everyone in the entrance. Cedric was waiting with the dagger. Brady was handcuffed and gagged. He was in a chair. Out of the blue, here came all my clan to support me. They were no longer mad at me. Luna hugged me, Kiera did too. Sarah and Cassie wished me luck. And Lucy had my back the whole time.

"Alright let's do it." Ashton says as he grabs Brady. Brady had no idea what was going on. He wasn't informed because he might have wrecked this plan. I didn't need him ruining this for us.

"GREGORY, I HAVE BRADY, COME GET HIM," Ashton yells. We wait in the shadows. As Ashton takes Brady's gag off.

"DAD, PLEASE HELP ME," he yells. Like he's in danger. There is rustling from up ahead. Hunter turns to me. He's scared. I can tell. He looks terrified. A figure emerges from the trees. Gregory stands tall and proud with five other hybrid wolves. Brady smiles at them. He's a jerk. He needs to go down with them.

"Alright now, I'll cloak you, get on Hunter, here is the dagger," Cedric whispers lowly. No one would hear him. The only problem was, Brady would see me.

"Brady will see me," I said. Cedric smiled.

"A knockout spell is coming right up," he said placing his hands together.

"Once alive now is dead, except for inside your head," he said. A better version of my spell. Weird how he thought of that. He aimed the ball at Brady hitting him in the back of the head. No one seemed to notice it. But Gregory knew something was wrong.

Cedric said the incantation for the cloaking spell, and in seconds I was hid. I took the dagger out and nodded to him. Hunter began walking to the courtyard where everyone of Gregory's followers was growling. Hunter continued slowly. And then right as he stepped up to Gregory, he paused. I was two feet from reaching his neck. I needed to tell him but how. I placed my head on his.

Step forward."

He heard me! He did as I said. Gregory swung his paw at him. I dodged it. And then he shoved Hunter with his face.

I almost slid off. I had to catch myself. Ashton then seen what I was doing and he threw Brady down and Gregory noticed his step son lifeless. He began to go into attack mode. All our wolves and hybrids changed and charged at the others. Gregory charged on Hunter. He threw me off. I landed beside Gregory in the snow. Cedric then began chanting something. I couldn't hear it but it sounded like a shield protection. He was trying to give me some protection. Hunter knocked Gregory to the ground and the green moon began to rise. The moon was bright green and so beautiful. Gregory howled at Hunter. They were both fighting hard. I only had two
Minutes to spare. I had to do this now!! Gregory was still lying on the ground with Hunter standing on him. Others were fighting to keep the pink wolves from me.

I came closer to Gregory. Only a foot from his heart. As soon as I got close enough I looked at Ashton who nods to me. At that time a figure knock me away. I get thrown into the ground a few feet from Gregory. The knife was thrown out of my hands but Cassie used her ability to move it closer to me. I took it. Brady stood before me. He was getting cocky.

"Want to play, you're blinking I guess that means the cloaking spell is wearing off."

"You know I'm getting sick of you." I said as I threw an energy ball at him. It hit his arm and he laughed.  He was an idiot. And he was definitely stronger than he looked. I threw another energy ball and it hit him on the stomach. He grimaced but continued to stand. My light faded and I was no longer cloaked. Gregory looked right at me. He knocked Hunter off of him. He ran straight towards me. He clutched the knife hard in my hands. Hunter came from the side and attacked Brady and Gregory both, at the same time. Lucy helped hold Brady down.

I ran up to Gregory who was winded. I drawer the dagger and brought down plunging it into his chest. The moon was still green. Now for the words. For the words? I could say his spell backwards. So I did just that. I began speaking in Latin. No idea how I did it. But I was speaking Latin. Gregory lay lifeless on the ground. Brady screamed "NO." But i ignored it.

The moon carved a light around Hunter. It levitated him over the fountain. He continued to shrink into a smaller wolf until the moonlight decided to drop him inside the fountain. The fountain was green! That's the last step!! That was it!! We never could figure that part out. The moonlight would bath him in green gold. Giving him what he desires.

The moon began to fade away, the green light now dimming. The pool still held out fur friend. But I wasn't sure if he was still a fur friend or not. We waited and waited. Lucy let Brady go, he ran into the woods. I was getting  anxious. But as I began to give up hope, a real human body emerges from the water, wrapped in nothing. He wasn't clothed. Cedric snapped his fingered and gave the figure a towel. He wraps it around his lower body. He has brown hair and it's long, a full nose, he has a nice structured chest and stomach. Abs! He's so gorgeous. Like a dream come true.
