Kyle sat on the black couch in the Molina's studio. The band was rehearsing some songs while the Kestell boy watched them play. Kyle really liked their music, and he was starting to become a fan, even though he would never actually admit that.

It was Saturday and the five were spending the whole weekend working on music after Julie had joined the boys band. Or as Flynn had said the previous day, they joined 'her band'.

The song ended and alex looked at Kyle.
'Ky, you're our new official opinion person, what'd you think?' The blond asked as he stood up.
'It was okay-ish.' Kyle lied, trying to wind Alex up.
'Okay-ish?' He asked 'wow, and to think we were friends.' Alex fake sobbed.
'I'm joking' Kyle dragged the g. 'It was amazing, you three are like, insanely talented!'

The five friends laughed, continuing their conversation.
The three ghosts and Julie got up, joining Kyle on the studios seating. They were still just chatting about music and the band.

Even though Kyle wasn't in the band, he still really enjoyed watching them play. Especially Alex. Kyle had come to terms with the fact that he had a very small (by very small he meant huge) crush on the ghost. It wasn't like Julie and Luke who were clearly head over heels for each other, because Kyle and Alex could actually touch, they were both ghosts.

Despite this, the brunette knew it would never happen. Maybe it was the years he spent trying to hide his sexuality which caused him to not actually know how to talk to guys or the fact he was generally just a hopeless romantic but Kyle knew he'd always just be an admirer from afar.

'Yo... Kyle? Earth to Kyle Kestell...'
Kyle snapped out of his thoughts, suddenly aware again of the fact there were others in the room.
'Yeah, sorry just kinda... zoned out for a second there.' He explained.
'Yeah, we know.' Julie said.
'Yeah, sorry about that.'
Julie nodded her head and the others went back to talking again

'Are you okay? You seem kinda distracted.' Alex asked Kyle privately.
'Yeah, that's all it is... distracted.' Kyle lied.
'Well if you need to talk, you know where to find me.' Alex smiled, patting Kyles back, making him tense up.
'Oh, sorry if I-' Alex started.
'No, no, y-you're good, really. It's just the y'know whole, haven't had anyone do that in twenty-five years, that's all.'
'Are you sure?'
'Yeah, pinkie promise.' Kyle held out his pinkie for the blond to join, and he did.

The two smiled at each other, disconnecting their hands, only to find Luke, Julie and Reggie looking at them.
'What?' The two ghosts asked in unison.
'Nothing...' Julie said as the other two snickered.

Kyle and Alex tried to laugh it off like it was nothing but they both felt pretty weird about it.

Kyle rolled his eyes. Even if the two boys couldn't see it; Julie, Luke and Reggie could.
They liked each other and even if Kyle hadn't even come out to the others yet, it was obvious there was something.
