Family

"Grandfather?!" Eve looked shocked. "Bu-But why are you here? And...how do I know if its you?" She was not even sure if the lady was her mother and then a man popped out saying he's her grandfather.

"Eve dear...he indeed is your grandfather." The lady assured.

"I expected someone older?" Garry frowned.

"My..My...thank you for the compliment, young man..and who are you?" The man said, approaching the two youngsters.

"I'm G-Garry." Garry said, trying to put up a brave front.

"Well..thank you for taking care of Eve till now..you may now leave through that door." The man smiled, looking down at Eve, admiring her through his rimless glasses.

"I'm not leaving without her!" Garry protested. "There's something weird going on here"

"Well there's nothing wrong here, so leave." The man hissed, standing face to face with Garry who was just a head shorter than him.

Garry cursed and started walking towards the door. The man snickered and looked back down at Eve. As soon as the two adults had their attention on Eve, Garry took the chair and smashed it hard down on them.

The two adults collasped on the floor in a heap and Garry yelled for Eve to run.

"QUICK !" The duo shot out of the door and none even took a second glance behind.

"This..this can't be.." Right in front of their eyes, was the same exact room and the two adults were still lying in a heap on the floor. No matter how many times Garry and Eve went in and out the door, they still came back to their original spot.

"Yo-You C-Cant run f-From us..Eve..." The man moaned, regaining his posture slowly. "I lost your mother once....I wont lose YOU now!"

"W-What?!" Eve blinked.

"Oh no...no..no..NO! My Sophie..." The man yowled in dismay. He lifted up the lady gently who apparently had a twisted neck from the blow Garry gave with the chair.

"I killed her?!" Garry swallowed nervously. He did not have that intention though.

"You...will PAY FOR THIS! DID YOU KNOW HOW LONG I SPENT CREATING MY PERFECT SOPHIE?! " The man shrieked, veins protruding on his temples.

"Created...?" Eve shivered. "She's not mum?"

"Your mother...of course...she cant be replaced but I had too..'cos i lost her..." The man muttered. "I loved her so much...but she ran away from me...She even burnt down the lovely little home we had. I lost Belle too...But i dont blame her, Belle was nothing compared to your mother. I wanted to make your mother into my perfect creation. After years of experiments, I almost accomplished my dream! But....but that beast took her away"

"Beast? Who? And..you said she ran away but she was actually taken away?" Eve asked in confusion.

"Your father.." He said flatly. "Yes..she followed him willingly..thats why I hate...i depise your father. If he wasnt born in the first place, your mother would have been mine forever."

"You are sick..." Garry shuddered.

"BUT if he wasnt born..there won't be you..another masterpiece..so I will not separate him from you and your mother." The man grinned madly.

Eve's eyes were wide in fright.

"Come....you want to see your parents don't you?"

"How can I believe you?" Eve gritted her teeth.

"Suit yourself...they are just behind this door." The man sighed, standing at the door which the two had passed so many times.

"But..it just leads back here!" Garry argued.

"Really?" The man smiled slyly, and the door creaked open miraculously alone.

They were back in the "Hall of Girls"

In the display shelf were the figurines of Eve's mother and father she saw earlier.

"They are..fake?" Eve pointed out.

"Well they are actually real, Eve." The man laughed. "Can't you see?"

"B-But...my parents are humans! N-Not dolls!"

"...Eve...I think he made them into dolls."

"Ah....very bright,Sunnyboy." The man clapped happily. "And Eve...you shall join them soon! The elderly couple will act as your grandparents, so I can have the whole complete set of a happy family! That will last forever! "

"YOU ARE CRAZY!" Eve finally screamed out. "GIVE ME BACK MY PARENTS..YOU..YOU...OLD MAN!"

The man looked at her,amused and sighed. He pulled out a mask from his coat pocket and covered his nose and mouth. He then took out a packet containing powder.

"Sweet dreams."

Eve slowly opened her groggy eyes. She felt heavy in the head and dry in the throat.

"Where am I?" She sitting on a chair but unable to move a single limp. She could smell a strong stench of blood too.

"Hello, Eve" The man appeared in front of her. "How are you feeling?"

"What do you mean? Where am I?! Let go of me! Garry? Are you here?! HELP! "

"I'm not restraining you at all, you know?" He raised a brow.

"Then...why cant i move?"

"Oh..the drug must not have wore off yet. Just a few more moments will do...and you can move! At least...your hands." He chuckled.

"What?"

The man pushed a mirror with wheels at the bottom, right to the front of Eve.

Eve wanted to scream and faint from what she just saw, but the amount of fear just could not let her take eyes off the reflection.

Her legs were no longer there.
