"Eve...." She smiled happily, placing the basket down and spread her arms open.
"Mum!" Eve ran towards her mother and hugged her tight. "Where were you and daddy?" She sobbed.
"I'm sorry dear....but I'm here now, arn't I? The lady cooed, stroking the girl's hair.
"Eve! Get away from her! She's...She's the one who gave me the rose!" Garry warned from a safe distance.
"But..she's my mother! " Eve said, confused and even looked up to confirm once again. " And mother..where's papa?"
"He's waiting for you, my love, c'mon lets go.." The lady took her hand and started walking away from Garry.
"Hey, Garry! We can get out of here now!" Eve piped cheerily. " Come with us!"
"Eve...but..I find something fishy!" Garry rushed forward to grab Eve's other hand. "What if she's not your mother? I-I mean..she just appeared from nowhere! "
Eve released her hand from the lady's and said, " You are right, Garry...and mother, since when were you wearing a white dress? " She started taking a few steps back.
"What are you talking about silly?" She said laughing lightly. "Look at me...I'm your mother!"
"Bu-"
"Enough!" Garry yelled and got hold of Eve by her arm. " We better go now! Who knows what she is!"
"Wait! Eve! How can you not believe in your mother!" The lady cried out, sounding heartbroken.
"Then..tell me what is my papa's name."
"Edward."
"Which year was i born?"
"13 February 1824"
"What did you give me as a birthday present."
The lady smirked.
"A silk scarf."
Eve was silent. They were all correct. "Are you really Mum?"
"Now no more nonsense dear...papa will be worried. Can we go now?"
Eve hesistated and whispered into Garry's ear. "Can we follow her? Anyway we don't know the way out either..and i think she's my mum...she answered everything correctly...no way a trickster who looks identical to her would know what present she gave me this morning."
Garry sighed and finally agreed.

The three walked for about 10 mins and finally came to a door on the wall,marked EXIT.
"Thats..convenient?" Garry said suspiciously aloud. "...too convenient."
"Well....so will you two believe me now?" The lady laughed and opened the door.
The door opened to another hallway, having red arrows pointing forward, painted on the walls. The hallway finally ended and a room came into sight. A simple room really and only a table sat in the middle. At the table, there was a chair. And on the chair was a man in lab coat.
"What's this?!" Garry said irritatedly, fear creeping in. He felt something was wrong.
"Sush, young man." The lady frowned and turned to Eve, smiling sweetly. "Eve...."
"What is it? Arn't we going to the exit? Where is it?"
"Meet your grandfather."
"Pardon?"
"Hello Eve..." The man stood up and straightened his blood stained coat. " I've been missing you."
