"Honey! Honey! Look there! I see land!" The man called out for his sleeping wife.

She groggily awoke, rubbing the corners of her eyes. When her vision focused, the glorious sight of land filled her eyes with tears.

Though the trip was most likely a short one to an average sea fairer, the non-benders had never been in a boat once. They hated travelling, especially since they had to abandoned any material possessions that they couldn't carry in their small boat. All they had with them was provisions to last them the journey to who knows where--just as least it wasn't Fire Nation territory--clothes,  some empty journals, and books.

The woman caressed her stomach. No way in hell she was going to raise her child in a war. They had to hide and the safe walls of Ba Sing Se were too far.

As they landed, the first thing they looked for was food. What they brought with them wouldn't last forever. The husband spotted some sort of berry. He rushed over to the colored fruit, hoping it wasn't dangerous.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the berries that would cause harm, but the unknown entrance to the Western Air Temple.

His wife rushed toward the stairs he had fallen down. Rubbing it, he tilts his head to the bottom of the stairs. They both stupidly decide the best course of action was to go down the dark mysterious staircase. Though this decision wasn't thought out properly, it didn't end up being a bad one. All they had to deal with was a couple spiderflies.

They were able to settle properly, finding a good sleeping area and food sources. Just after they finally got things ready, the woman was in labor. The one thing they weren't prepared for yet.

Though honestly, is anyone ever ready?

They raise the child, teaching her speech, writing, basic survival skills in case anything ever happened to her. But most importantly, they taught her dance. It was the only thing that seemed to clear her boredom.

Her mother gave their child her old dancing outfit that seemed to adjust to her daughter perfectly.

During the first dance lesson she took in that outfit, their daughter was told to, "Jump as if  you were going to fly!"

Taking it literally, the airbender genes that her mother unknowingly carried activated. She carried herself through the sky, wind supporting her body as her feet took her higher and higher.

This was an obvious surprise as the last known airbender died ages ago and both parents were non-benders. Neither parent knew how to handle the situation, as both were from the Earth Nation. That's all they knew.

"How did I do mama?!" The child eagerly asked her mother.

"Er- you did great, Tsuie..!"
