WHACK

I woke up. Ow. Where in the Force was I? The room appeared to be pitch black like the depths of space until the lights were switched on. Blinking to adjust to the newfound light source, I glanced down at myself. I was strapped to an oh so comfortable chair with Force cuffs on my wrists and ankles. The room was black with a white tile floor. An interrogation room. Brilliant. A moment later, a female officer strode in flanked by two guards who stood outside the door. She was tall, with blond hair and red-rimmed, yellow eyes like she hadn't slept in years. "Good evening, or should I say, morning?" Her voice sounded like knives on a chalkboard, firm yet unmoving. "Either way, it shalln't matter. We have much to discuss, after all. My name is Agent Betriss. First, you will tell me your name, and if you do not comply, we will torment you until you do so. Understood?" I don't reply. This woman is absurd as to think that she will get anything out of me.

"Your name?"

No response. Agent Betriss sighs and hits a button on her wrist. Suddenly, an electric current storms through me, and I yell in pain. It stops after a moment, and Betriss gets in my face. I vaguely notice her sharp mint breath in my ear. "I will only ask once more. What. Is.Your. Name?"

"You should be smart enough to known that," I hiss back. Most people know who I am, being the 'Hero With No Fear' and all. She slaps me hard across the face. "I will not tolerate such arrogance in here. If you will not at least tell me your name, then we will move on. That is hardly important. Tell me, where is the rebel base?" Rebel base? What rebel base? "I'm not sure I understand what you are referring to. If you are Separatist, then you would know-"

"DO NOT PLAY DUMB WITH ME! I know you are directly involved with the actions of the Rebel Alliance. We have seen holos of you in action, Jedi scum! And if you still refuse to share, I will see to it that your little friends are taken well care of!"

My eyes widen. They didn't get away. "No! Leave them out of this!"

"Then tell me!"

I sigh. "Look lady, I honestly have no idea what 'rebels' you are talking about. The Grand Republic is currently in the middle of a war with the Separatist Alliance, and us Jedi have no familiarities with the so called, 'Rebel Alliance.'" At this, Betriss' face goes bright red. "And you should know, Master Jedi, that the Clone Wars has been over for about 20 years now. 20! I'm not buying any of your ridiculous lies!"

What? "Oh come on! We-"

"Droid! Initiate Method 1109!" Betriss cuts me off. A sort of probe droid that I didn't notice earlier floats over and sticks a needle in my arm. Immediately, pain flares through my body. I gasp as things blur in and out of focus. What is this! I've never heard of this kind of drug before! Is it some sort of poison? The pain only intensifies. It feels like there's fire in my veins. It fades a little after a minute or two, and Betriss asks me yet another question. "What about the bombing of Eadu? Where did you get that information?" I don't reply, and the droid injects me with a different drug. This time, I start to feel woozy.

Another poke.

My skin prickles, like needles are being pushed into my skin all over. The world sways. I can't really think straight. I'm smacked across the face. Lady, what did you think would happen?

I hear Betriss ask another question. "What are your acquaintances with Luke Sk-" the rest is blurred out. My hearing is really fuzzy now and I'm struggling to stay conscious. Come on, don't pass out now! Who knows what she will do! But the torture and drugs are too much. The room blackens, again, as I slip into unconsciousness.
