"Anakin."
"Aaanakin."
"An... kin.."
The slurred voices seep into the blackness of my mind. I can't feel or see anything, just numbness and the voices.
"Wa... up! We ne... you! Please!"
The black fog surrounding my mind begins to clear as I feel myself start to move. I struggle to get my eyes open, until light invades my dark world.
"Anakin?"
I blink several times until previous memories come flying back to me. I shove the arms holding me down away and attempt to get to my feet, but I am roughly pushed back down. "Anakin, stop, it's us! Please, calm down!" My vision clears and I see Obi-Wan and Luke holding me down. "Obi-Wan?" My voice comes out in a dry squeak and I frown. Clearing my throat, I try again. "What's going on? Is everyone safe? Where am I?"
He gives a small smile. "Yes, we are all here and fine. You are in the prison levels in a cell with me and Luke after being interrogated. Everyone else is across the hall." I sit up. "Oh. And I assume you weren't interrogated?"
"Luckily for me, no."
"I thought you didn't believe in luck?"
"Anakin, let's be fair. Besides, now is really not the time for this."
I smirk. "And I also assume we have yet to plan an escape?"
Obi-Wan rolls his eyes. "One thing at a time, please. You know, you gave us quite the scare. How did you get out of space?" I blink. Space?
"I-I'm not sure. I think I was picked up by a ship? But wait... I should be dead! I was out there for a while, even if they picked me up right away..."
Obi-Wan frowns. "That is mildly confusing. We will have to look into it later. For now, however, we need an escape plan."
"Leave it to me," I say with a smirk.
************************************
"Are you sure this is going to work?" Whispers Luke as we creep down the hall. We were now in the second stage of our plan: Freeing everyone else without getting caught. Obi-Wan was trying to find our lightsabers, while we freed Han, Leia, and Rey. I had stolen a key card from one of the guards that opened the cells, so that wasn't a problem. "It'll be fine! Just play your part and keep watch."
Luke rolls his eyes. "You better hope so, or it's your fault if we don't get out of here!" I chuckled as I slipped the key card into the cell. "Just keep watch!"
Beep, click.
The door was open. "Come on guys," I whispered, "Let's go!" Han, Leia, and Rey quickly got up and ran out of the cell. Luke sighs. "Now let's hope they just don't figure out we escaped." As if on que, an alarm began to blare. "Blast it!" I growl. "Obi-Wan, where are you?"
Leia scowls. "If you nerfherders are done chitchatting, we need to get moving!" I roll my eyes. Gosh, she sounds just like Padmé. We ran down the prison level hall, only to round a corner to a bunch of... clones?
"Blast them!"
What?
Too late, the clones open fire. We dive to the little cover the rifts in the walls provid. "I see your 'plan' has gone a little sideways. Whatcha gonna do now?" Han shouts above the noise. I smirk. "Now, we improvise!" With that, I lept into the crossfire and threw the troopers back with the Force. "Hurry up and grab a blaster!" I shout to my companions. Han was first to get there, and immediately killed the six clones before I could say a word. "Why would you do that?!" I yell at Han. He looks at me with a confused expression. "Why not? Their stormtroopers! Why wouldn't we?" Stormtroopers? "No, they were clones from the Grand Army of the Republic!"
"I'm not sure what game your playing at. The age of the Republic ended almost 22 years ago! The clone army is long gone!" I blinked. That's the second time I've heard that, but it's impossible! Unless... No, that can't be it. What Han is suggesting is impossible. But the facts are adding up...
"You should know, Master Jedi, that the Clone Wars has been over for almost 20 years now!"
The Empire...
The Sith I didn't recognize...
"That's impossible," I muttered again. Han snorted. "No it's not, the Republic is gone."
"Not... In my time it isn't," I said slowly. Everyone except for Rey stared at me in bewilderment. "Are you suggesting that you time traveled?" Han asked. Luke's eyes widened. I sighed. "That's... really the only logical explication, but I guess it isn't really logical now, is it?"
"Not at all," said Han. "How do we know your not just making up a bunch of mumbo jumbo?" I sighed again. "You don't. But we don't have time for this right now. We need to find Obi-Wan, and get the kriff off this piece of junk. Hopefully we can make it to the hanger before the Imperials send more backup. Anymore questions?" Everyone shook their heads.
"Alright, then let's get moving."
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I have been busy and for some reason my books weren't loading. I also changed the tense a bit because it sounds better this way. Hopefully you enjoyed!
