Imagine being a powerful witch who was held captive and about to be executed, but when you are brought to the platform you realize that you won't be the only one hang by the neck.

-Y/N POV
'Why can't I escape! I should be able to blow this door wide open but something is off' I thought to myself, pacing back and forth in my cell.
I was to be hang by the neck soon and by soon I mean a few moments.
This was not the way I'm going to be killed, I will not go to John's locker this easily.
"Witch! Stand in the middle of the cell with you back facing us!" I heard the guards yell and panic struck me.
I did as they asked and they gripped my wrists and placed handcuffs on them.
"Don't have to be so aggressive gentleman, I will not be dying today and you will wish you never hurt me" I said with a smirk and they pushed me out of the cell.
We walked slowly through the corridors until I could see the door that would lead to the platform. I could hear many people and chattering all over the place.
"Well, well, well, fancy seeing you here Y/N" a familiar voice said from the left of me and I could hear more shackles.
I looked over and was greeted by an old friend.
"Jack! As I live and breath for a few more moments, you're still alive!" I said with a genuine smile and pushed the guards slightly to be able to hug him.
I managed to put my head of his shoulder and feel his hands grab mine before the 4 guards that were escorting us pulled us away.
"Why? Thought I would be gone already?" He asked and we stood still.
"To be honest, yeah, you don't seem like the type of guy who would survive this life" I said and the crowd cheered outside.
"Well I won't be alive for long" he said and the crowd was silent again, listening to the lord speaking.
Jack didn't know I was a witch, he just new that I was very resourceful and could use a sword handly.
I looked forward to see the doors open and the feeling of panic and fear hit me.
"Jack, I'm scared" I said and he looked at me with dull eyes knowing that I wouldn't show fear to many people.
"We'll be alright love, if anything we'll reunite in John's locker" he said sarcastically.
I stayed silent and looked at the floor. I didn't want to die and I bet Jack was as scared as I was.
'I need to figure out what's affecting my powers' I told myself and began looking around repeatedly.
"What are you doing?" Jack asked and the guards behind us began to push us to the door.
"I'm trying to figure something" I said and began to chant a spell.
The spell was supposed to help me regain energy by absorbing some from the people around or from large sources such as the sun, but it wasn't working.
"Come on!" I whispered to myself.
"Love what are you doing?!" Jack asked looking worried but I didn't respond.
We were walking outside and almost at the platform with all eyes on us. I began to chant again as we were walking up and onto the platform and this time I began feeling safe, seeing the ocean in front of me and a good friend besides me. The spell began to work slowly, feeling the energy sink into my skin.
"Jack trust me" I said and he looked at me confused.
"Jack Sparrow and Y/N Y/L/N. You are going to be hang by the neck for piracy, arson, and witch craft" the lord began to say but I stopped listening and I murmured the spell out loud now.
Some people were looking at me but I closed my eyes.
"Now please, executioner" the lord said and the executioner placed the ropes around our neck.
The drums began to play and I finally finished the spell, feeling all of the energy back inside if my body.
A smile crept on my face and suddenly I could hear the stick for the platform being pulled.
I acted fast and said a quick spell to make the ropes turn into water, making both Jack and I land on our feet and the water surround us.
"How in the bloody hell did you do that?" Jack yelled and I began to pull him by the arm.
Everyone was around and we both pulled swords from an unconcenrated soldier and I also got someone's gun and hit him over the head with it.
We turned around, ready to battle when a parrot passed above our head and we were greeted by 3 rows of guards pointing their guns at us.
"Now this isn't fair" Jack said cockily.
"Jack, get behind me" I said and the general spoke.
"Turn yourself in right now and you won't be shot"
"And be hang instead? I don't think so" I said and Jack slowly moved behind me.
"Then you leave us no choice, ready. Fire!" The general said and the bullets came right at us.
With a wave of my hand all of the bullets stopped mid-air right before us.
"Bloody hell" Jack said from behind me and I smiled.
"Now general, I have enough bullets here to kill every single one of you as well as your precious lord and some of the innocent people, or, you let us leave with no harm done" I said and everyone lowered their weapons.
"We will give you 2 minutes before my soldiers will run after you" he said and I smirked, grabbing Jack by the hand and pulling him along the corridor with bullets flouting behind us because did my spell.
"I should have you with me crew, you'll be a fine mate" Jack said and we ran outside to the market.
I let some of the bullets fly into my coat pockets as well as Jack's and the rest I left behind on the floor for the soldiers to trip over.
"Jack let's discuss this later" I said and he began pulling me, following the parrot from earlier.
"Jack what are you doing?" I asked in hushed tone.
"That parrot belongs to one of me crew mates, they're here to rescue me and I could help you" he said and I nodded my head thinking and did a funny face, following him through the town.
We reached the docks and a few people pulled us into a nice ship, covering our mouths.
"Jack! Y/N my god How have you been?" Gibbs said letting us go as we got to the deck and I hugged him tightly.
"I'm alright, was about to be executed but fine. Let's leave before they find us Jackie" I said and he nodded drunkly.
"Go on everyone! Get the sails! Gibbs get the wheel" Jack yelled then looked at me like he was going to tell me to do anything but I gave him a 'watch it' look and shut his mouth.
"Jackie? Where will we go?" I asked when the ship was far enough from the port.
"Where ever we want love. Also, would you be joining us? I believe you'd help us a lot" he said with a large smile.
"I haven't been out here for a long time, I think I'd like that" I said giving him a side hug.
"I would never have thought that an old friend would become such a powerful witch" he said looking down at me.
"And I never would have thought that an old friend would become such a great pirate" I said and I pushed me slightly.
"Ahaaa, I knew it! You did hear about me!" He yelled pointing his pointer finger at me.
"Ok, yes I have heard of you. But I kept my distance cause I didn't know if you wanted to see me or if you even remembered me" I said looking at him with my heard leaning to the side a little.
"You used to be one of my best friends, of course I'd want to see you" he said and pulled me into another hug.
"For the ruthless reputation that I've heard, you're a cute puppy" I said and he pulled his sword out.
"Who are you calling a puppy witch!" He yelled and Gibbs threw me his sword from his stands at the wheel.
He attacked me and we started fighting as the rest of the guys continued with their jobs, cheering and watching from time to time.
'Let the advantage begin'
