Thank you so much for commenting and voting! *no smut* ——————————————————————————— Backstory- After Ichabod finished his work at Sleepy Hollow he stayed with Katrina, but soon they found out their relationship wasn't working well. It didn't mean he'll stop working though. He continued on and went to a new town, Salem Village, Massachusetts. The famous town where the Salem witch trials were held. In there he meets a nice young girl who was an expert with chemicals and new technologies like crane, but she holds her own secret. ~~~~~~~~~~ Ichabod POV- The ride to Salem Village was long and annoying. It was about five or so hours with bumpy roads, and whenever I tried to read or work on some new idea for an invention, the bumps would shake the wagon and I would lose track. I even tried to sleep to no avail. I needed some kind of a distraction from my recent failed relationship with Katrina, so when the Captain said that there were new unknown murderer in Salem Village I was quick to take the offer. In the case file, it said that some people think that the old witches that were killed there are coming back around for revenge, and since my experience in Sleepy Hollow, I have began to look into the supernatural and try to understand it. It's quite difficult but with old books of spells in the old library, I've managed to learn some protection spells and about some of the creatures that lurk in the dark. I am staying at a large house that no one in the town uses which meant that I had entire rooms to put my books, chemicals, and inventions at. My old helper from my time in Sleepy Hollow, Jonathan, joined me again on this trip. The biggest reason that I enjoy his company is because he helped me clean out all of the spider webs and bugs that were around the house, and by that I mean that he was the one to clean it and I would go as far way as possible from the area. I just don't like bugs. Jonathan and I were invited tonight for a small dinner party with some of the high society in town and we of course accepted. I dressed up with my normal clothes and I got some more proper clothes for the young lad. He didn't come from a rich family so he didn't have any proper clothes.
*a slight time skip to the dinner* The people of the town explained to me what had occurred with the old witch trails, the poor girls were basically pleading for their lives, but when a town trusts a couple of little girls when they accuse people of witch craft, what could go wrong? I now believe in some magic but from the stories that I have heard from the town folks, the girls were merely girls, not something evil like the headless horseman. I continued on making small talks with the owner of the house as well as his friends when a female voice caught my attention. I turned around to watch who she might be so I could present myself, and what I saw caused my mouth to half fall open. The girl was dressed in men's clothes. She had black slink pants that were tucked into her tall black boots. She had a white shirt collar popping out from around her neck holding a black tie that goes down and into a black vests that was closed with golden buttons. A golden chain was present hanging from the vest and into an inner packet of her white and gold coat which ran all the way to her knees.(Imagine the outfit that Alice wears in Alice Through the Looking Glass, the one when she is captain)
