Uh.... I'd like to say that this chapter was completely unintentional.
I had this song (^) on and my writing open.
I suddenly just started typing randomly.
Is this chapter dark?

Find out on you're own I guess! ^^ 🖤

❝Living with anxiety is like being followed by a voice.
It knows all your insecurities and uses them against you.
It gets to the point when it's the loudest voice in the room.
The only one you can hear...❞
After Sophie saw the Alicorn, she hasn't touched it since.
Yet it seemed like it wanted to be seen.
Sophie wakes up to find herself staring right back at the Alicorn, staring at the intricate design of the china.
She closed her eyes again, tired from other nights where she couldn't sleep.
There was something about this Alicorn.
Something suspicious about it but at the same time, the Alicorn soothes her.
(Alicorn sus. Vote it out? 🤔)
She winced as she slowly got up and got out of bed. Slowly walking to the Alicorn, she takes it into her hands to frown at it. The metal felt way too warm for something that was a china.
Suddenly, there was a large flash.
Sophie cried in pain as it blinded her. She dropped the Alicorn and the light flashed away. Her frown deepened as she stared at the Alicorn model, laying as if dead on the group. She quickly grabbed it carefully and placed it back onto her shelf.
Aware of its presence, she turned it around so it was facing the wall so it couldn't watch her. She quickly went to change and left the room, scared for her life.
She ran down the stairs, a pair of eyes that seemingly were attached to her. She felt a sting in her wrist and looked down, eyes widened to see a tiny x painted on her skin. She calmed down, thinking it could rub off.
However, she became more frantic when it wouldn't come off so she ran toward the nearest sink, rubbing it vigorously to get it off.
Nothing worked.
Sophie's eyes widened in panic as she turned around to make sure no one was around.
From what she knew in this world, "x" was not good.
For the peaceful elves, it was known as a target.
Fitz even refused to let any of those symbols be around the house.
Sophie freaked as the x started to sting her wrist even more.
She quickly lifted her hand up to cold water and let it pour down, yet it couldn't lighten the sting.
She quickly took her hand out and stopped the water, going back to her room to look for any books about it.
As soon as she walked into her room, she felt the alicorn stare at her. When she looked over, the Alicorn was still facing the side wall, looking a little tilted from how Sophie had placed it earlier.
Sophie shook as she looked through her books.
Target...
She was a target?
For what? And why?
She finally found the book she was looking for and quickly scurried over to her desk with the book in her hand.
She flipped quickly, sighing in disappointment when she found nothing about the strange symbol that seemed engraved into her skin.
She looked back at it, frowning deeply. The x didn't seem printed though.
It seemed like it was the product of someone's handwriting.
Not a very neat one, mind you. Still a handwriting.
Sophie traced over the x, ignoring the little buzz she felt on the tip of her fingertip when she did so.
She ignored it as it began to sting again and decided to check out where Fitz was.
She quickly started running around the house, looking for him.
Frantically searching the halls, she frowned, seeing he wasn't anywhere to be found. Thinking that he may have gone out for business, she looked for Biana.
She was nowhere to be found...
Keefe was nowhere to be found either.
Sophie's worries increased when none of the workers were anywhere to be seen.
She frowned as the x started to sting when she started walking back to her room.
Suddenly, she let out a sharp yelp and her wrist jolted upward.
She ran frantically to catch up with wherever the x was guiding her.
She got into her room and eyes widened when she saw the Alicorn staring back at her, sharp piercing human eyes staring into her soul.

How's this completely unintentional chapter? :)
As I promised, I will start to write more.
I was going to update this part in a week or two, but thought that y'all deserved something extra for keeping up with me as I struggled to write the story.
My life is still really messed up, ngl.
HoWeVeR, I will try my best for those who actually like this story (if there is anyone ._.)
I will try to write more and get a schedule in which this story updates but that's for another time .^ .
Hope you guys enjoyed! ^^
