Yoshika watched as Momoshiro and Kaido fought against Marui and Jackal, but she knew they wouldn't win. Just by how they were playing, they were going to lose. As if she predicted the future, they had lost. When they walked back to the group, they had their heads hung low with a face of defeat. Yoshika patted them both on the shoulder and smiled at them.

"You'll get better. I know it. You guys did your best and that's all that mattered. Besides, I know that the others won't let us down," Yoshika comforted. The boys looked up at her then at their friends that held a thumbs up at them. Momoshiro had smiled and nodded.

Kaido was still upset, but Yoshika knew him well enough that she could see the grateful glint in his eyes. A small smile passed his face before going back to his usual frown.

Yoshika sat back down as the matches continued. Rikkaidai won the next match as well, but that didn't dampen their motivations as Inui and Fuji won their matches. Finally, it was Singles 1 match, the tiebreaking match that would decide the winner of the Regional Tournament...

"Singles 1 players, please report to the courts to start your match," the umpire announced.

Yoshika looked at Ryoma who was walking towards the net to face off against the vice-captain of Rikkaidai... Sanda Genichirō. 'He can do it...' Yoshika thought determined.

Ryoma noticed how Sanda's eyes were drifting off somewhere, and he followed in that direction to find Yoshika within his line of vision. Secretly, it had ticked him off that the vice was checking out his captain's girl, so being the arrogant person he was, he decided to tick Sanda off...

"Sorry, but she is taken. Go find someone else to gawk at," Ryoma said nonchalantly. Yoshika supposedly heard him because she blushed at his words. That really ticked off Sanda as he turned around and walked to his position, but before doing so, he said something...

"She's mine and I'll make sure you get that ingrained in your head, you little brat."

Yoshika watched as Ryoma began to glow, a signal that he was using Muga no Kyōchi. A few people could hear him mutter the words, "You still have a lot to work on," before a blue light began outlining the 1st year's body. That won him the first 3 games, but then things began going south...

Ryoma used a lot of his energy on winning the games since Muga No Kyōchi expends energy to work, but Ryoma's usage of that is different. Instead of mastered moves of which originated from himself, the new state would be used as a mastery of many different moves that originated by players that he's faced or seen using those moves.

For the next 5 games, Sanda won, his cocky attitude beginning to cloud his mind. Yoshika knew that Ryoma was tired, but she also knew that Ryoma let Sanda win the 5 games, finding it as a way to recharge himself.

He sent a knowing glance to Yoshika who nodded with a smirk, "Let's shut him up once and for all..."
