After all of that chaos with the celebrations, excitement, and anything else that had gone on after the ceremony, it was about time for them to go have their dinner at Kawamura's. Yoshika and the boys were walking to the restraint and had their own little chats with one another or were simply listening to all the busy chatter that had gone on around them.
While walking, a certain someone had been in their own world, looking through their phone to find something. Eiji got curious and took Yoshika's phone. Yoshika quickly tried to snatch it back, but Eiji was too fast, running faster than the others in an attempt to get away from the now irritated young 3rd year...
"Eiji get your butt back here! Give me back my phone!" Yoshika yelled as she chased him.
Eiji stuck out his tongue in a playful manner as he continued to run. Yoshika finally caught up to him after a tiring 5 minutes of chasing the energetic teen. She caught hold of her phone, pulling it out of Eiji's grasp as she held it protectively against her chest.
"Mine!" She pouted, her lips pouty as she turned around, continuing to walk towards the restaurant as it wasn't far of a trek, seeing as Eiji had ran in the direction of the eatery.
When they got to the sushi restaurant, Yoshika happily greeted Kawamura's father, having a light conversation with him before seating herself on one of the cushions that laid on the floor.
The others soon filed in one by one, seating themselves in their usual arrangement, Tezuka's pillow untouched and left empty. Yoshika was eating her sushi when someone slid her plate. She looked up to see Eiji with a smile on his face. Yoshika sighed and tried to grab the plate, but to no avail, was unsuccessful as Fuji- who'd been sitting right next to her- had taken the plate and moved it even farther. Eventually it was right where Tezuka would be sitting. Yoshika hesitated before going over to grab her plate, but Inui held her shoulder, pushing her to sit in his seat.
Yoshika looked hesitant, her body slightly paler and her breath shaky. She didn't feel that it was right for her to sit in his seat. Not without his permission, none the less, he was out of the country too. Yoshika looked at the others who held encouraging smiles. She gave them a small smile in return, and slowly sat in Tezuka's spot, finding it odd that she sat in such a different spot.
After she finished eating, she hesitantly took out her phone, eyeing Eiji who was happily chatting with his double's partner- Oishi- about some comic he'd read a few days back. She continued scrolling through her phone, a few mumbled comments and grunts occasionally being made. Yoshika eventually found what she was looking for and followed through with her plan.
Something made the boys silent as they watched Yoshika on her phone. Eiji was too curious and tugged on Oishi's sleeve, and in a hushed whisper, asked, "What's Yoshika~san doing?"
Oishi, still staring at Yoshika's busy figure, shrugged his shoulders, his eyes slightly squinting as he tried to figure out what it was that Yoshika was doing. Eventually, Yoshika held her phone up in joy as she then gasped out with glee. She then realized how the others were watching her as she felt their stares burning into her soul.
Realizing that she had noticed their stares, the boys snapped out of their trance, giving her sheepish smiles. Fuji, being the bold and curious one, had decided to actually ask what she was doing...
"Yoshika~chan?" Fuji called aloud. Yoshika answered him with a slight hum, her attention now turned towards the young tensai.
"What are you doing on your phone that's got you so hyped?" he inquired bluntly. Yoshika blushed and looked down at her hands that laid in her lap. She mumbled something and Fuji furrowed his brows in distaste.
"Yoshika, I can't hear you," Fuji pointed out.
Yoshika jumped a bit in her seat before taking a deep breath and restating what she previously had said, "I-I bought the tickets..."
Fuji seemed a little confused at the moment, but once he thought on her words a little more, he understood them and a smile laid on his face.
"How long?" he asked.
"One week," Yoshika answered.
The others couldn't be more confused. Only Fuji seemed to know and even if they thought about it like he did, they couldn't understand the meaning behind her words. Tickets? For what? Where was she going? She said 'tickets' as in plural, so who was going with her? Oishi cleared his throat, catching their attention as they had been in their own world, talking about the "tickets" and the details.
"Excuse us, but you haven't exactly specified what you mean by 'tickets' Yoshi~san," Oishi pointed out, gesturing out imaginative quotation marks with his fingers.
"Oh. W-Well, I bought the tickets that will take us to see Kunimitsu~kun inn Germany..." Yoshika trailed off, her face dusted with a light blush. Upon hearing that, almost everyone got out of their seat and bear-hugged Yoshika, giving her gleeful comments and such.
Yoshika smiled as they expressed their gratitude over and over again. Yoshika was just happy seeing her friends smile. They were actually happy without being so pressured. Not only that, but they were able to see their captain again. Well, earlier than they get to see him after recovery. Yoshika slowly told them to get off as she was slowly beginning loose air, finding it difficult to breathe.
Yoshika told them to finish eating so that they would be able to go home and start packing. The boys agreed and quickly finished their meal and thanked Kawamura's father for the delicious food.
After that, they all went home, some going in pairs while others went alone. Most went in pairs as they were either chatting up a storm with the other or just had similar routes home. Yoshika on the other hand had no one to go with. The only other person that would have gone home with her would be Tezuka. Yoshika really missed him, but she couldn't cry about it since she did buy tickets to see him. Not to mention spending a whole week with him. Though, she was wondering if she should tell Tezuka of their arrival...
Yoshika glanced down at her phone. shaking her head with a sigh. No, this was going to be a surprise. She decided to call his rehab center and plan something out with the staff there. As she walked home, she talked on the phone with the staff that worked specifically with Tezuka.
One of these people being his sports trainer, Hannah. She was way older than Yoshika and Tezuka, so that made Yoshika feel relief as she though that Hannah might have taken a liking to Tezuka in the romantic way. Though, the age difference and how Hannah talked about Tezuka pushed that thought away as it also put Yoshika at ease.
"So, could you have him come to the airport to supposedly pick up a new patient and instead he finds us..." Yoshika asked with a mischievous grin across her face. She heard a slight chuckle on the other end of the phone call as Hannah hummed.
"Sure! We can do that. He probably would do that in any other case too," Hannah replied. Yoshika squealed before thanking her.
"No sweat! Oh! By the way, when do you come to Germany and what flight are you on?" Hannah asked.
"We are boarding flight 34 and it's tomorrow's flight. The distance time would be about 12 hours and we are about 8 hours ahead of your time. So, probably tell him to meet the 'new person' at 4:00," Yoshika answered, her head quickly doing the math equations.
"Okay! We can do that! Well, it's about time for Tezuka's therapy time with me so I gotta split! Catch ya later!" Hannah said, the phone line ending as she hung up the phone. Yoshika sighed in contentment before placing her phone in her pocket, finishing her walk back home.
