"Thank you all for competing in the Kanto Regional Tournament! Now to present our winners, Seishun Gakuen! They will be partaking in the Nationals against many other schools! We will now give out the awards..." the organizer announced. Soon enough, the man began calling the regulars' names aloud, a lady awarding them a medal as they went down the list; one by one...
"Oishi Suichiro..."
"Kikumaru Eiji..."
"Inui Sadaharu..."
"Takashi Kawamura..."
"Fuji Shusuke..."
"Momoshiro Takeshi..."
"Kaido Kaoru..."
"Ryoma Echizen..."
"And in place of Tezuka Kunimitsu...Yoshika Yukimura..."
The man finished off with a few words before handing the young group of boys a trophy. Their faces held joy and relief. Not only had they won their bet with Yoshika, but they also had gotten to show the world that they were going to make a name for themselves. Yoshika watched as the boys then were going to take a photo, but they seemed... off...
After a simple discussion between themselves, Fuji walked off the platform that they were standing on and towards Yoshika's direction. She faced him with a proud smile and he held his hand out for her to grab.
"Come on! Aren't you part of our team as well?" Fuji encouraged, a light teasing tone entwined with his honesty.
"Yeah, but- E-eh! Hey!" Yoshika squeaked as she soon was dragged by Fuji towards the other boys. When they got back to the boys, they surrounded Yoshika, placing her right in the center...
"Nya! Now Yoshika~chan will be able to be in the spotlight!" Eiji exclaimed happily. Yoshika saw their intent and gave them a heartfelt smile. Tears- joyful tears- began falling down her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away as she looked on towards the camera woman that had stood patiently waiting to take their photo.
Yoshika gave her a curt nod, smiling at her as a small signal that she could take the photos. The lady caught on to her hints and readied her camera, refocusing the lens to become clear and aligned. She then began to count off, the regulars fixing themselves a little before posing for their photo...
