Ch. Nine 👑

-The Prince of Ilsan is arriving tomorrow

That's the first thing Jin tells the thieves that night. Everyone feels the excitement run through their veins. They robbed the Young Prince of Daegu and now they have the chance to rob from de Prince of Ilsan. Everything is going better than ever.

- We are not gonna rob him

Jin's words make everyone drop their smiles.

- What are you talking about? Do you know how much Hyungwon gave us for the rings of Busan's Prince only?!

And Jin knows it's a lot of money. But for once he wants to do things differently. He raises his voice making sure everyone hears him. They had a talk about revolution before but they weren't strong enough yet.

- Is this what we are gonna do for the rest of our life? Steal the small things they have and let them get away with everything else?

- What else can we do?

This time it's Yoongi who questions Jin. He is aware that being on Jin's side is gonna get them in trouble but it might get them a better future for their people

- The Prince of Ilsan is coming to marry the future King. They'll give us fruits and vegetables at low costs for as long as the marriage lasts

- That's not something bad, right?

Hobi isn't sure where Jin is going with this. But he's not planning to stop him now.

- Isn't it? We have the most fertile lands after Gwangcheon but we don't grow anything here, we buy it. Because our lands are all for the rich people that train our men for war.

This is a well known fact. Daegu's Kingdom has the best military in the land. Almost no other can compare.

- What we give in exchange for food it's our lives when they send us to fight their battles. And not only that, but we have to pay extra for the food that we could be growing ourselves if the king at least tried. - The silence in the room was louder than any other - WE struggle to find a job because they don't make any. They give our work to other kingdoms and then we pay for the result of it. Kim Namjoon said he is ruling the Kingdom. BUT IT IS OUR KINGDOM AS WELL. AND WE KNOW HOW TO RULE IT BETTER.

A loud chant is heard from all of them. Finally, they feel it's time to do something about it. However after Jin's plan is explained they all look at Hoseok. Jin has too much energy inside after the night he had with Namjoon.

- What do you say, Hobi? Can you make a strategy for this?

- We are gonna cross the line...but they crossed it with us first. I'm in.

The smiles on their faces grow wider than ever and no one sleeps that night as they plan exactly what to do. The next morning Jimin wakes up next to Taehyung. They get dressed as fancy as possible while Taehyung complains

- I don't understand why we have to have lunch with them too. I'm not the one that's gonna marry him!

- It's out of courtesy Tae, don't you wanna know how your brother's future husband looks like?

- I met him already...Well, it was years ago. A short boy with black hair and the most serious face on earth. I'm almost sorry for Namjoon

Jimin laughs knowing full well who he's talking about. Prince Woozi really looks serious as fuck. He also met him a year earlier when he joined his brother on a trip to Ilsan. Once they are in the dinning room, some guards come in next to Ilsan's prince. However the moment Jimin sits at the table and he looks up, his jaw drops. Yes, he is short, with black hair and a serious face. But that is not Woozi. His eyes meet Suga's eyes. With a deep look Suga stares at Jimin praying for him not to say anything.

- So Woozi, it's been years since we last met. You are now a very handsome young man, right Namjoon?

The King fakes a smile trying to praise Yoongi. He doesn't want this marriage to fail. Little does he know he has the wrong person sitting at that table. With a tired look, Namjoon answers.

- Yes he is, father

Yoongi stays calm now that the king didn't recognize his fake ass. And thank the gods Jimin didn't say anything yet. Jin comes in with the rest of his helpers with the food. And Yoongi panics looking at the several forks in front of him. He feels the King's eyes on him and tries to grab the fork closer to the plate. Jin realizes he's taking the wrong one and wants to make a signal not to take that one but the moment he tries to make a move Namjoon's eyes look straight at him.

- Prince Woozi - Says Jimin making Yoongi look up to him - May I ask how was your trip here?

As he talks, he takes the fork that's more far away from his plate making Yoongi notice which is the right one to grab.

- It was very calm... Daegu has some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world

The King finally looks away from Yoongi and waits for Namjoon to join the conversation. Namjoon does so, ignoring Jin and trying his best to make his "future husband" feel comfortable. Lunch passes as they all get in the conversation. Suga finds Jimin saving his ass more than once when they name someone from Ilsan he doesn't know and Jimin interrupts by hinting subtly who that person is.

And now Yoongi is in Namjoon's private room discussing the wedding. This is the moment that's gonna change everything. And he only has a few hours before he needs to run the hell out of there.
