- HAVE YOU GONE MAD?

The king's deep voice can be heard all around the castle. In front of him, Namjoon tries his best to keep composure.

- For getting a better deal without a wedding?

The King scoffs looking at Woozi who sits there with them suppressing a smile.

- A better deal? You had to marry Ilsan's Prince, not kiss his ass!

- I'm afraid the choice is done, your majesty...unless you rather for me to leave with no deal at all

Woozi talks not wanting to miss the chance of annoying the King. This last one answers with spite

- You'll regret it if you do.

- If that was a threat, then I'll ask for Seoul's protection. I'm sure they won't mind a reason to start a war with you

The King knows Seoul is a pain in the ass. And even if he could go to war without hesitation, he can't do it if no one trades food with them. The decision was already made before he came in. And so he leaves not without first giving a menacing look at both princes. Namjoon knows this isn't over and his father will take this as an offense. But it really is the perfect deal.

- If you don't mind... - Woozi speaks - I'd rather sign everything now and leave tomorrow morning.

- Of course! It's been a full week already, your father must be worried there was no news of a wedding yet.

Woozi smiles at the thought and they get everything ready. Ilsan is going to give them food at a very low cost for three years, and three years only. Namjoon would have to use those years to prepare his own lands in Daegu and then make a new deal where they both trade with each other. Once Woozi signs everything, Namjoon finally asks what he wanted to ask since they talked the days before.

- May I ask you a question, Prince?

- Oh please Namjoon, we are friends now. You can call me Woozi! And just ask me!

It is weird for Namjoon to see him smile so much. He's used to his serious face. Or at least he used to be serious when they met years ago.

- We are giving you nothing for three years, why?

That question is eating him up inside. Of course, he wouldn't dare to ask it before or the deal might be cut off. Woozi opens his eyes in surprise

- Why? Namjoon, I am not dumb. Seoul and you are one step away from going to war. And we are in the middle of it. As you know, Seoul trades food with us, they won't attack us. You on the other hand...

And he was right. If the Prince leaves the castle with no deal and no wedding, the moment the war starts they are gonna go after Ilsan. Both of them seem aware of it.

- If there was a wedding though...we wouldn't have attacked you either. We would've protected you

- But the war would still be there

- So?

- So now, you still have your enemies. But we don't. We will go to no war. We'll be attacked by no one. You can fight, and maybe you can win but we...we are gonna live.

And Namjoon realizes by the other's expression he entered a tough territory with the Prince. Woozi used to be the Younger Prince until a war exploded years ago. And even if they won with their help, his older brother died. To just think of his little brother Taehyung dying, a part of his heart aches. As Jin enters the room bringing cinnamon rolls and coffee, Woozi decides to change the subject.

- I will admit, marrying you doesn't look so bad, now that I saw you again

Woozi says it smiling, making Jin want to puke at the thought of marrying Namjoon. What crazy idiot would like to marry him?!

- I'm afraid you are not my type...

Namjoon answers playfully as he stares at Jin. For some reason whenever he's close, his eyes end up following him.

- I meant...you are actually a better future King than I thought. You really know what your people want...

Woozi takes one of the cinnamon rolls and bites it opening his eyes wide as he chews.

- I'm glad you say that...

- N-Namjoon... did you get this from town?

- Hahahah don't be ridiculous Woozi! The Chef is right in front of you!

He laughs at the thought and wonders if those things really taste that bad. Ready to fire the Chef, he takes one. Seokjin is a pain in the ass and any excuse to annoy him is worth it. However, once he tastes it he knows he can never use that delicious pastry as an excuse.

- Namjoon...you know I came here planning to marry you! But the moment we talked you already had other plans...How long have you been planning this?

Woozi is starting to feel really curious as he eats those cinnamon rolls that taste exactly like the ones one of his kind "kidnappers" gave him.

- I wasn't planning it really. But you know...some enemies give us good ideas without knowing.

Namjoon smiles thinking of how bad Suga must have felt when he was caught and couldn't follow his plan. Jin wants to laugh so hard seeing how everything works out. However, it's Woozi who takes the chance and explodes in laughter. Namjoon laughs with him without knowing they are thinking completely different things.

- I guess the future King of Daegu is a real men of the people

Woozi starts to get up, ready to prepare everything for the trip back home. Namjoon smiles and they both say goodbye. But before Woozi can leave the room with Jin behind him holding the tray, he stops.

- By the way... Ilsan appreciates those who help them. The real future King of Daegu will forever be welcome and protected by us. That's not in the deal, but it is my word.

Namjoon nods without seeing who is Woozi actually looking at. The next morning before leaving, the Prince of Ilsan makes a stop at the kitchen to talk to the chef.

- I meant what I said yesterday. We protect those who protect us. - He whispers - I hope your eye gets well soon...and his too.

Woozi leaves the castle that morning, and everyone who passes near the kitchen door can hear a very loud laugh of a very proud Chef.
