Summary:
The dashingly handsome Inspector Zenigata asks you out on a date. It's not that you don't want to go, but there's a looming voice in your head that tells you he's too good for you.

You stared into the mirror, looking over your outfit, then looking back at your bed, currently covered in numerous articles of clothing.
"None of these look as good as I thought they would.." you let out a sigh and looked back inside of your closet. You saw a dress that was a perfect shade of your favorite color and grabbed it. Pulling it out and looking closer at it on the hanger. You then lifted it up to see how it would look on your body before deciding to try it on.
Quickly pulling off what you were already wearing and got into the dress. Once you've pulled it on and zipped it up, you stepped into the mirrors view and looked into the mirror. The dress was a good length and fit really nicely. Needless to say, you were in love.
"Finally," You let out a relieved sigh "Glad I found something to wear." Moving on from that, you pulled on some shoes and any other accesories you thought would look nice. As you were finishing up, you head three quick knocks on your door. You quickly got your bag and headed towards the door.
Upon opening the door you saw Koichi Zenigata himself. In some ways, it was still hard to even believe that he had asked you out on this date, even asking someone out on a date at all. You already knew how busy his life is, chasing after Lupin.
"H-Hey..." You stuttered out a greeting. Zenigata's face flushed slightly as he looked at you.
"Hey," he clearned his throat "You look really beautiful. N-Not that you didnt before, but, you know what i mean. Right..?" He gave you a nervous smile and let out a dry chuckle. You nodded your head, thinking how cute it was that he was so nervous, maybe even more nervous than you.
He held his hand out for you to take and you grabbed it as the two of you headed off.

Zenigata had taken you to this lovely restaurant, there were a fair bit of people waiting outside, but all Zenigata had to do was show his I.D and utter the word "Interpol" and the two of you were seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, and somewhat melted away some of the awkwardness you two had surrounding yourselves.
The two of you had finished a little early and decided to walk around in a nearby park quickly before Zenigata took you back to your home. You were just talking about little stuff, and decided to just say what has been eating you up the whole evening.
"You know, I'm really surprised you had even asked me out tonight" You said softly. Zenigata quirked his eyebrow at you.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"Well," You let out a sigh and looked up at him. "You're you! Inspector Zenigata himself!" You didnt miss the blush that covered his face briefly. "Plus, I'm not really the most skinny or beautiful woman out there-"
"Y/n." Zenigata interupted. You felt his hand softly grab your hand and give it a tiny squeeze. "That really doesnt matter to me, and I think you're beautiful just the way you are." Your face flushed and you let out a small google as you cracked a smile.
"Thank you, that really means a lot." He nodded his head as he smiled back at you. You pulled his arm down so that we was closer to your face and you pressed a soft kiss onto his cheek. His already red face somehow grew even redder after your kiss, but after the enitioal shock however, his smile grew wider.
The two of you held each other's hand and stood closer together as he walked you home for the night. Yeah, there would totally be another date in the future.
