"No way."

The door opened a little more.

In the doorframe stood a young man who, just like the rest of them, had pale skin and brown eyes. However, his hair was different. It was darker and was brushed over and spiked on the left side. There was a streak of orange running through it.

He wore an oversized, orange T-shirt that dropped off of his left shoulder and was either tucked into his jeans or hidden under the black jacket that was tied around his waist. There was also a logo on his T-shirt that Thomas had missed at first glance. It was a circle that was split into three with something in each third: first, part of a damaged hand. Second, a cracked brain. Third, a bruised heart.
He wore black, knee high boots on his feet.

The side, now known as Pain, looked at Virgil with shock. He then laughed a little before he spoke.

"Heya, Anxiety, what're you doing here? I didn't think your half-dead lookin' ass planned on showing around here ever again."

It could've been taken as a joke with the way he was smiling, if it hadn't had been for the all too evident anger and frustration in his voice.

Virgil's gaze was unwavering, though his heart was beating rapidly.

"Just so you know, my name is Virgil. And I'm not here for me. We need your help," he said as calmly as he could.

"We?" Pain asked with a raised eyebrow.

He then noticed everyone else and that just seemed to anger him more. Especially when he noticed Thomas.

"So you walk out on me, leave me here on my own for years, then decide it'd be a great idea to rock up here again? With every other side and our host?!"

He wasn't even attempting to hide his anger anymore. His jaw clenched as he finished speaking and his eyes were fire.

Pain turned to shut the door but Virgil grabbed his arm.

"It's for Janus," he mumbled.

Pain looked at him.

"Who in the hell is Jan-"

He stopped as Patton stepped forward, still guiding Janus by holding his hands.

Pain stared at the snake-like side as Janus stepped towards him.

"Dee..."

Pain held out a hand and used it to lift Janus' chin to get a better look at him in the minimal light.

Janus pushed his hand away. It wasn't a particularly hard push but Pain got the memo not to do it again.

He then nodded.

"So it's finally happened huh?" he asked, as if he already knew the answer.

He then moved out of the doorway, welcoming them all inside.

Everyone stepped in and looked around at Pain's room.

It didn't really look like a room that would belong to someone known as 'pain.' It looked more like it belonged to somebody who was obsessed with rock and metal bands and leather.

There was a leather sectional sofa in the corner so that the end was next to a black, stone fireplace. The floor was covered in soft, orange carpet and the walls were a dark grey and covered in posters for bands like Paramore, Evanescence, My Chemical Romance, and Five Finger Death Punch.

Pain invited them all to sit on the sofa and he summoned a beanbag from, assumably, his room (it fell through the ceiling).

He sat down and looked at all of them.
