"No," Amelia sternly replied crossing her arms. Leo then stared at 'it' as he would say, as he sat beside Amelia on the couch."But it's Eric," Yuugo said, holding up the said boy. The little 3 years old then blep out his own tongue, immediately amazed by it. Amelia looked at him and sighed, making intense eye contact with the adult.
"I dealt with babies before, but that doesn't mean I-"
"Mi-mi!" Eric exclaimed while escaping from Yuugo's grip. He ran towards Amelia, hugging onto her legs -because of their height- with his huge adorable smile never leaving his face.
Leo stared down at him, tapping Amelia's shoulder. "Uh- Is he serious?" He asked.
"When am I not serious?" Yuugo rose a brow, cocking a gun to the ceiling.
Amelia let out a hum of disagreement, "And where do you think you're going?"
"Hunting," Yuugo smiled creepily before slamming the door to close. Then, slamming the door wide open with force again he warned, "I'll be out just for a few hours so don't do anything nasty. I'm looking at you, Leo." Closing the door with a huge force again.
Amelia sighed, walking out of the living room with Eric following her like a lost puppy. "And where are you going?" Leo asked, standing up from the couch.
"Making chewable toddler food? I don't know, Leo. I just wanna make myself useful here," Amelia said tiredly as she stretched, a yawn coming out of her mouth. Leo rolled his eyes.
As Eric watched Amelia, he tried to mimic her actions. Raising his hands up in the air, they linked together as he opened up his mouth to make some weird gurgling noises. Amelia and Leo both turned to Eric, curious of what he did when the two weren't looking at the toddler.
Little Eric then stared back at them, a confused smile on his face. He blinked. "Uah?" He mumbled out as he looked back at what he just did.
Seeing his adorable confused expression made Amelia's heart squeezed. "shit," She quickly shook it off as she proceeded to head into the kitchen.
Opening one of the cupboards, she took out the cooking book and started searching for food for a toddler. "Cherries, he'd probably choke on them. Peanut butter bread, could Eric be allergic to peanuts?" She muttered to herself.
She sighed, "Oatmeal should be fine." As she said that, she began gathering the items she needed and followed the instructions in the book.
'Should I check up on her?' Leo thought while sitting upside down on the couch. He looked over to the side to see Eric staring intently at the TV screen which was playing 'Paw Patrol'.
'Nah, Eric won't notice.' He stood up slowly from the couch to prevent a headache. He took a quick glance at Eric to see his gaze still attached to the TV.
Sneaking his way into the kitchen, he went past Amelia who was stirring the ingredients up. "Why aren't you taking care of Eric?" She asked without removing her gaze from the bowl.
"He's watching Paw Patrol and is pretty hooked on that," He muttered while opening the fridge.
Amelia sighed in defeat. "He isn't that bad. At least play with him or something," She suggested.
