Next Step

Sehun spent the night with Chanyeol and felt like he was meant to be with him. Sehun couldn't keep his eyes off of the sleeping boy in his arms. Sadly, he had to get home to feed his dog and make sure he didn't ruin any furniture while he was gone. Sehun began the process of getting out from Chanyeol's grasp but Chanyeol kept grabbing tighter the further Sehun got. Sehun let out a laugh from the scene which made the older open his eyes. Chanyeol had his eyes half open and a pout on his face. "What are you doing, it's so early" Chanyeol mumbles in his morning voice. "First, it's 1 in the afternoon and second, I need to check on my dog at home. I also have the night shift tonight... you're welcome to come and visit me there. In fact, you're encouraged to" Sehun says with a smile on his face while sitting on the edge of the bed. "I can try and come by, I need to go by my friends house today because he has been bugging me about not seeing him. But, that shouldn't take very long. I'm sure I'll see you tonight" Chanyeol says with a smile as well and gets out of his bed. "What friend?" Sehun asks with a confused face. "You don't know him, his name is Junmyeon. He's like a parent in the way he looks after me. You don't have to worry about it" Chanyeol explains. Sehun raises his eyebrows and leaves the room, Chanyeol follows close behind. "What? I can't have other friends?" Chanyeol teases from behind Sehun. "That's not what it is, I just don't know him so I don't know how to feel about him" Sehun says with a sigh. Chanyeol pulls out his phone and calls Junmyeon, Sehun heard the phone ringing and turned around to see who his boyfriend was calling. Junmyeon picks up and greats Chanyeol, "Hello? What's wrong? Don't tell me you can't make it today Park" Junmyeon sounds concerned, Chanyeol laughs "Don't worry Jun, I'm just calling to ask about if you would ever go out with me more then friends kind of thing..." Chanyeol asks while making direct eye contact with Sehun. Sehun wasn't amused just yet. "Chanyeol.. uh, this is something we should talk about in person isn't it? Why are you asking this so suddenly?" Junmyeon says on the other line. "Just a yes or no Jun. It's okay if you don't feel that way about me" Chanyeol adds, "Well, you know I see you as my brother. I don't think us going out would be the best for our relationship... you're a great friend and I think very highly of you but I really don't think we would work as anything else then friends. I'm sorry Chanyeol. I understand if you don't feel okay seeing me today anymore" Junmyeon explains, Chanyeol could barely hold in his laughter and Junmyeon heard the muffled laughter through the phone. "What's so funny? Was this a test or something?? Chanyeol what the hell was that?" Junmyeon asks, "My boyfriend here wasn't sure if he trusted me going to someone's house he didn't know so I called you infront of him to ask that" Chanyeol explains through his laughter. "Boyfriend?? Chanyeol you have a lot of nerve scaring me like that, I really thought our friendship was on the line!!" Junmyeon says through a small laugh from relief. "Sorry, sorry. I'll tell you all about this guy today. Thank you for your input" Chanyeol hung up the phone and looks at Sehun who had his arms crossed. "Do you believe me now?" Chanyeol asked. "Fine, I'll trust you and your friend" Sehun says uncrossing his arms and hugging Chanyeol lightly. "I need to get going babe" Please keep me updated of if you'll be there tonight. I'll miss you" Sehun says while gathering his stuff and putting his shoes on. "Of course, I'll text you throughout the day too" Chanyeol says with a small smile. Sehun left and got into his car to drive home. 

Once Sehun was home he opened the door to be greeted by Vivi, who looked very annoyed that he was left alone all night. "Okay boy here I'll get you some food hold on" Sehun says while putting his stuff down and heads towards the kitchen to feed him. After he fed and left Vivi out sehun pulled out his phone to tell Yixing about what had gone down. 

S: Hey, are you free to talk. I've got a lot to say.

Y: It's about time, tell me what happened.

S: Well, he had just started a thing with Baekhyun.

Y: Mother fucker. I knew it. 

S: Okay but, Chanyeol chose me over him. 

Y: Bro! Holy shit! 

S: I mean yeah I'm really happy about it but, Baekhyun looked crushed. I feel really awful about it. 

Y: I see where you're coming from but, you were picked. If anyone should feel bad it's Chanyeol. Nothing is on you anymore. Just enjoy being with him. You deserve to be happy. 

S: I guess so yeah, but I ended up spending the night without doing anything sexual and it actually felt really nice to be able to bond with someone without bringing our bodies into it. 

Y: A lot of detail but, whatever makes you happy dude. I'm super glad it worked out. And who do you have to thank?

S: You, Thank you. 

Y: Jongin helped too. 

S: Oaky yes but he's not here is he? 

Y: Just say thanks to him tonight, it'll be the nice thing to do.

S: Okay I will.

Y: See you tonight.

S: See ya. 

Sehun looks over at the time and saw he still has a few hours before his shift so he decides to take a short nap.
