I was on my way to the Salvatore boarding house per Damon's request.
I walked into the house without knocking and came to see Damon and Elena talking, "I'm sorry-" Elena tried but Damon cut her off as I walked up to them.
"Death happens, we come, we go sooner she dies the better." I stood next to him and looked at Elena as Damon spoke again, "it's gloomy as hell in here." He walked away leaving me with Elena but I only nodded my head at her with a sad smile and followed Damon out the house.
"Is it true then? A werewolf bite is fatal to a Vampire?" I asked him, he looked at me briefly, "as far as we are aware." I grabbed his arm once we were beside his car and turned him round, "Damon, I'm your friend." He scoffed and tried to turn away but I kept him in place, "and I'm stronger." Damon gave me a sad smile and stepped forward to rest his head on my shoulder, neither of us moved to hug each other - I only raised my hand to his I head so I could run my fingers through his hair.
"Okay, let's go." He quickly stood up and walked over to his car, I rolled my eyes with a smile and followed him. Damon didn't let people see his emotions, and if he let them - me - see then it would only be for a small while before he shut them out. The important thing however is that I got to see.
We were driving when Damon's phone went off, he didn't answer it but he did okay the message that was left; 'hey Damon, Wolf - in the grill.' It was Alaric.
I felt my phone buzz to see a text from Caroline tell me that Matt kissed her, I sighed and replied asking if she was okay, but I didn't get a reply, she must've been busy.
"You okay baby vamp?" I looked at Damon from the passenger seat, "yeah just Caroline's boy drama." Damon laughed at the words I said before furrowing his brows, "you know, it's something I realised."
"What?" I asked him, he kept his eyes on the road as he replied, "you never have boy drama." I cleared my throat and scoffed before answering him, "well that is because I don't date boys... so there is so boy drama to have..." I trailed off, i wasn't ashamed if anything I thought it was the most normal thing for me to say, I'd spent 1000 years preferring woman over men, doesn't mean I haven't been with men, after all not everywhere is accepting and you can't compell the whole world but I prefer being with women plus men were the added bonus for when you needed something from them.
"So you're... gay?" I looked at him and smiled, "what? Sad I'm not available to you anymore?" In turn Damon scoffed and looked back at the road from where he was previously looking - me.
