71.Fairy Lights

Under the fairy lights,
I waited for my love.

To appear in my eyes,
Happiness seared in my heart.
A smile broke on my face,
Replacing a frown.

I was hit with reality,
Daydreaming is dangerous
Than the nightmares.

Our togetherness,
Is not impossible,
But is not possible either.

You're a dream,
Ain't real,
But still I dream it.

I wish,
In next life,
Together we'll be,
My love.

Diwali was festival of lights. One of my favourite as well as my most hated festivals I celebrate.

I wrote this poem in Diwali. This poem was a poem of a hope and one of the shortest poems that I'll ever write.
