"You know, I think I love you." My body tenses at those three words. I turned over on the bed to look at her. I search her eyes to see if she just meant what she just said. Does she even know what she just said ?

"What ?" I mumble.

"Yeah, you know what... I do love you. I love you Danielle Sanchez." Santana smiles.

I didn't know what to say , I mean we've only been dating like three months. I don't know if I feel the same way.

"This is where you say it back Dani." She whispers, her smile turning into a frown.

"I want to say it back Tana , I really do but..." I drift off.

"You don't feel the same way." She finishes my sentence.

"It's not that Santana-"

"Then what is it ?" She says sternly cutting me off.

Ever since that conversation a couple weeks ago with Santana, we haven't been very ... okay ?

When we talk it's very short. She started closing herself from me. When we walk around town she won't hold my hand anymore, there's no more good night or morning kisses. It got to the point where I started staying back at my place during the night. When its her days off I offer to hang out but she always comes up with an excuse. I don't know if it was because of what I had told her or because I never told her I love her, that our relationship is crumbling.

Today is her day off, I called her this morning to see if she wanted to come over and she said no. Well more like a "the wonder twins wanted to hang today so I cant." I know she's lying though so I decided to walk to their loft.

I knock on the big wooden door and wait for an answer.

After a few seconds Santana opens the door with a surprised look on her face.

"Dani... Babe, what are you doing here ?" She asks looking confused.

"Well last time I checked, I am still your girlfriend. Or am I cause lately you've been ignoring me these past weeks Santana." I see her glance behind her like if she's hiding something. "Who's here ?" I ask more sternly, I know she's hiding something form me.

"No one Dani, look it's not a good time right now. Ill text you I promise." She tries to close the door on me but I push it back before she can close it.

I push her lightly aside so I can see who is inside. I look into the living room and see a perky blue eyed blonde sitting on the couch. I shake my head in disbelief and turn to Santana.

"After everything I told you, you still had the nerve to be around her." I let out a shaky sigh. "Even worse you lie to me about hanging out with Rachel and Kurt today, instead of spending time with me ! I haven't spent time with you in two weeks and you ditched me every chance we got to for her." I yell crying and walk out of the loft.

"Dani wait ! It's not what you think." she runs down the hall way catching up to me. She grabs my wrist to spin me around facing her.
"You know this isn't what you think it is."

"Is it ? I came to tell you I'm so in love with you. And all this time you've been seeing her behind my back. This is why I didn't want to tell you I love you." I whisper the last part and yank my hand out of her grasp. "I really want to punch you in the face so bad right now Tana... I gotta go." I walk down the flight of stairs and back to my apartment.

"Then what is it ?" She says sternly cutting me off.

I sigh knowing I'd have to explain, "You tell me you love me now San but how do I know you won't leave me for her ?"

"Why would you think that !"

"Cause the day I first met you , you told me you still love her. I can't go through with losing you to her if I tell you those words."

"So you're basically questioning my love for you ? Babe ,I know what I'm sure of. I know I love you." Santana sighs and gets out of bed.

"What are you doing ?" I ask watching her gather things.

"I'm going home." She grabs her purse and keys.

"Why ?"

"I can't be here right now. You just admitted your feelings to me and now I know what you think of this relationship."

I was so ready to tell her I love her. Going days at a time with out Santana made me miss her and it gave me time. I always wanted to tell her I love her, but it's a scary thing to think about what happens after your feeling are revealed. Things change.
