3rd Person POV
Autobot Base
Dante gently picked Katie up and carried her through the Groundbridge to where the rest of the Bots were waiting. "Miko, you have Jack's number?" he asked.
Miko nodded, shaking herself out of her surprise.
"Call him and get June here immediately," he ordered as he set Katie gently on a berth.
As Miko dialed Jack's number, Arcee walked over and knelt at his side. "Dante, is that...?" She trailed off.
"It is," Dante said softly, earning looks of confusion from the others.
Arcee's eyes widened. "How is that possible?"
Dante shook his head. "I don't know. She's not a terminator; I'd be able to tell. But it doesn't make sense."
"What doesn't make sense?" Elita asked in confusion.
Dante looked over at her. "Remember Katie?"
"Yeah, but what does she..." She trailed off, eyes widening in surprise. "How?" she exclaimed. "I thought she was dead!"
"So did I," Dante muttered.
"Who is Katie?" Bumblebee asked in confusion.
Dante sighed. "I'll explain when June gets here."
Optimus nodded, knowing that whoever this girl was, she meant a lot to Dante.
Several minutes passed, and June arrived with Jack and Raf in tow.
"What happened?" June asked.
Dante stepped aside, showing Katie on a berth. "I need you to check her over," he said. "I want to make sure that everything's alright. Nothing's broken, but it wouldn't hurt to be sure. I lost her once; I won't lose her again."
June nodded and started checking Katie over while Jack spoke up. "Who is she?"
"Someone I knew," Dante said. "You'll all want to sit down for this."
The humans nodded and sat down.
"Alright," Dante started. "For those of you who don't know, this is Katie. I met her a long time ago, just after I went rogue from Legion. I found her under a pair of support beams and helped bring her back to health. After that... well, she kind of stuck with me. We stayed together since it was the only way for her to survive. Eventually, I began to see her as the little sister I never had. However, one day we got caught in a battle and got buried under some rubble. I never found her body."
"Until now," Jack commented, pointing at Katie as June finished checking her over.
"She's fine, but what concerns me are the scars," June said.
Optimus frowned. "Scars?"
Dante laughed hollowly. "We weren't living in a paradise you know. It was basically Hell on Earth. She's a survivor, I'll tell you that. Heck, she took on a Rev-7 all on her own and defeated it."
The Autobots' eyes widened, remembering the monstrous terminators that Dante had shown them.
"Rev-7?" Raf asked in confusion.
Dante facepalmed. "Right, June was blocking your eyes." He hacked into a monitor and pulled up an image of a Rev-7.
Raf gulped. "She took on... that?"
