Yoshiro's POV

"So, you're working for my grandpa now?" I asked as he takes his seat.

"Yeah"

"Do you know what's with his ring?"

"All I know is it is the family's insignia" He doesn't seem to be lying. Why would that man come here with my grandpa's ring? Underling ba siya ni dad? It doesn't look that way.

"Do you know why he came here?" he's quiet. He knows something. Hinintay ko siyang magsalita as he makes up his mind. He then sighed.

"While we're on the chase, that man told me something. He told me to be wary about Dalwyn-sama and Dustin. They're up to something and he asked me to protect you"

"He told you that?" dad asked who just came in.

"Yes Kevin-sama, and it's very troubling"

"It sure does" dad agreed and glanced at me meaningfully. Pagkatapos naming kumain, pumunta kami sa living room to discuss about the Adams kasama si Jiro. Binigay ni Jiro ang mga basic informations tungkol sa kanila, brief history and current status.

"Did my parents ever spoke about my sister?" tanong ni dad kay Kyouhei.

"I haven't heard them speak of Vivian-sama because of security and precaution"

"That man earlier, a spy from the Adams as we have found out but he's no longer working for them for a long time. I'm not saying that he's innocent. No" dad finished then the atmosphere around us became heavy.

"Kyouhei, son" he called.

"Are you willing to work under me?" halatang gulat si Knyouhei sa narinig niya and I'm not sure if what I'm thinking is true.

"You do know what I'm pertaining to son, please" I stared at my dad after he glanced at me. This doesn't feel good. Hindi ko gusto kung saan to patungo.

"What do you want me to do Kevin-sama?"

"Be my senses, that is all"

"Dad" I uttered as I shook my head. This isn't true.

"There are a lot of things you don't know about our family Shi, and one of those is I'm not in good terms with your grandparents"

"Then why did you let Dustin stay here?! Ikaw mismo nagsabi sakin na hindi lahat ng tao mapagkakatiwalaan. Why did you let them?!" I'm furious and I'm hurt.

"Bakit mo hinayaan na maging close kami ni Dustin? Do you think you can twist his mind and make him side us? He's on their side from the very beginning dad" hindi siya nagsasalita, he doesn't want to utter anything.

"Or were you observing him? Dapat--" kung sinabihan niya ako then that would make it hard for the both of us.

"Great" I sighed and wiped my tears.

"Okay, I'll keep it up" I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself but

"I'm sorry sweetheart" dumiretso ako sa kwarto at nagkulong. I understand but I just can't accept.

"Jiro, i-monitor mo si Dustin. Wake me up if something doesn't seem to be right"

"Actually sis, there already is" Cry later Yoshiro. I opened my laptop and Jiro projected the footage.

"I want her dead Dustin"

"It's not that easy Kiara, Kevin is not that blind to not notice anything"

"Until when do you plan to do it Dustin? When will you stop that act of being her fiancé-brother thingy?"

"When it is time. We'll save your parents Kiara, I promise"
