Chap 26

Dustin's POV

Dad? Did he just call him Dad? Tahimik lang na naghuhugas ng pinagkainan si dad habang pinapanood kong magkulitan sina Yoshiro at Kyouhei. I never saw her that happy before.

"Didn't they tell him to you?" tanong ni dad at umupo sa tabi ko. Katatapos niya lang maghugas.

"No one ever told me about him" sagot ko naman.

"Sorry to break this to you but he's my girl's promised man"

"What do you mean by that?"

"The real fiancé is here" I'm speechless. Literaly speechless.

"And don't mistake your closeness to my daughter as love. She only sees you as an older brother" I never saw him this serious since he's always playing around.

"I'm being honest to you son. Your engagement to my daughter is never agreed upon"

"Ah, yes. Of course. I knew that all along"

"Hey! No fair!" Yoshiro shouted and pushed Kyouhei away from her but he just laughed and sat back.

"Admit it Yoshiro-chan, you can't beat me on this"

"Let's see about that Kyouhei-kun" she's really having fun.

"You promised just one game" dad told them.

"Last match" they both said at the same time.

I quietly went into my own room and I don't care if none of them noticed. In just two weeks that I was gone, that dude came and stole her from me. I don't think I'll let this pass. Let's see what kind of man he is.

Yoshiro's POV

"Dustin...it's not his real name" bulong ni Kyouhei habang naglalaro kami.

"I thought so, your reaction told me earlier"

"Walder Blood is his name"

"Jiro"

"On it lil sis"

"And I won again"

"Why can't I beat you?!" I playfully choked him and he just laughed.

"Okay lovebirds, shut that thing off so we could all go to sleep now" sabi ni dad at pinatay yung ilaw sa kusina.

"On it" sabi ko naman at binalik sa cable mode yung TV bago ko in-off.

Nauna na si dad sa taas. Sumunod na din kami ni Kyouhei. Bago pa ako pumasok sa kwarto ko, hinila niya ako papunta sa kanya.

"Thank you Yoshiro-chan" I mean it for freeing me from her grandpa's hands

"A good night hug will do" I told him and by the moment his arms are around me, tears fell from my eyes.

"I told you to stop calling me that" I squeaked like beaten dog.

"I want you to overcome that Yoshiro-chan. You can't let it weaken you forever" Siyempre alam niya! Sa kanya ko lang naman kasi sinasabi lahat lahat eh!

Kinabukasan, maaga kaming tatlo na pumunta sa school. Napansin agad ni kuya yung suot naming ni Kyouhei na singsing kaya sinabi ko na sa kanya and relasyon namin ni Kyouhei. Hindi na ako nagtaka nung hindi siya nagulat. Malamang sinabi na sa kanya ni dad kagabi. Sa harapan ko pinaupo si Kyouhei kasi nga bakante ang mga upuan na malapit sakin. Pwera na lang kay kuya na nasa tabi ko.

"We have a new student, would you care to introduce your self?" pagsisimula si sir Alfred sa homeroom. Tumayo naman si Kyouhei and did what he's asked to do.
