Kevin's POV

"I don't like it when you shout" I began calmly.

"I'm sorry, my emotions overtook me. I won't do it again"

"Are you sure it's my sister?"

"I'm confident"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know"

"Don't lie to me Shi"

"She threatened...me" she choked.

"What did she tell you?" I asked and tears started streaming down her cheeks.

"She told me they'd kill you, Kyouhei-kun, and Ka-chan next if I don't shut up"

"To a nine-year-old kid?" Kyouhei asked in disbelief. I just breathed deeply to calm myself down.

"I shouldn't have doubted my instinct" I regretfully uttered. I know there's something wrong but I paid no mind to it. Who won't be scared after they showed you that they can kill?

"Will you still rescue them if Kyouhei-kun's theory wasn't right?"

"She's still my sister Shi"

"Then I will show Kiara how I lost my mom. I'm sorry but I just can't agree with you on that" she said with finality and left. I had Kyouhei leave too. It wasn't long when Styx and Kazuma came back and sat down. They had been listening.

"You have to think things through son. I will give you my support but I will side my princess" Kazuma started.

"And I have no choice but to follow my master, unless I have to correct you of course" Styx added.

"Thank you, both of you"

Yoshiro's POV

Wow, just wow. Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala sa mga nalaman ko ngayong araw. Si Elena Adams, ang taong pumatay sa mom ko ang kapatid ni dad na ililigtas sana namin. Hindi ko talaga inaakala na magkadugo pala sila. Kaya pala punyeta ang ugali ni Kiara dahil demonyo ang nanay niya. Siguro kung nalaman ko to ng mas maaga patay na ngayon yung babaeng yon. At akalain mo nga naman, kapatid ko pala talaga si kuya. At ang pinaka nakakainis sas lahat, takot pa rin ako hanggang ngayon!

Hindi naman pwedeng umiyak na lang ako lagi at magtago, di ba? Buhay ko at ng mga mahal ko sa buhay ang nakataya dito. Kung hindi maingat si kuya siguradong pati siya papataying nila. Wala akong tiwala sa Kiara na yan kahit katiting. Darating din ang araw na siya mismo ang magpapahamak kay kuya dahil wala siyang ibang iniisip kundi ang sarili niya.
