Chapter 41

Clari's POV:

I finally found Diego again, but I just couldn't tell him about that I'm pregnant... Not yet.

But he seemed to notice my nervousness...

- Are you okay, beautiful? - he asked as he kissed my forehead.

- I'm okay, don't worry - I smiled at him.

- Nervous about the last scene, huh?

Thank god! He thinks I'm nervous about the scene so let's just roll with it for now.

- Yeah... Kind of - I sighed.

- It will be okay - he smiled.

- Yeah, I know...

Later on we have been on scene, at the part where Angie says her goodbyes to her family and is going to leave, but we had to have a few minutes of break and when we had it Carla came up to me.

I'm not an agressive person, but I wanted to slap her on the face so bad after what she did to me and Diego, but I kept on straight face.

- Hi... - she greeted me.

- Hey.

- I uhm... Can we talk?

- Quick because I need to be back on scene in 2 minutes.

- I just want to say that... I'm sorry!

- Sorry for what?

I wanted her to say it out herself.

- I'm sorry for all the bad that happened! I was too jealous and I wanted Diego to myself, but I didn't realize what I am doing until I saw both of you depressed and...

- Fine. Whatever - I groaned - It doesn't really matter as we're together again... But I recommend you to keep your distance from us because I won't be nice the next time!

Just then I saw Diego coming back to the set so I went to talk to him instead and not pissing myself off on Carla anymore.

We continued the scene again and it was time for me to get in to the taxi and when I was there I sighed deeply, but mostly happily because I finished.

But then I realized that the taxi isn't taking me back to the set, but somewhere else.

- Where are we going? - I asked him.

- Mr. Ramos asked me to take you to a special place - he replied and smiled.

- Huh? Diego?

What the hell is he planning?

A few minutes later the driver stopped at a restaurant... But not any restaurant... This is the restaurant where me and Diego had our first date here in Buenos Aires.

I got out of the car and as I did I noticed...

- Mother! - I screamed happily and hugged her.

- Hi, darling - she smiled and hugged me back.

- What's going on here?

- Come inside and you'll see - she smiled and I just nodded hesitantly as we walked in.

Inside all my friends from the cast and from France were there and I was confused even more, but happy at the same time.

And a few minutes later finally Diego came too and pulled me into a tight hug and after he let go of me he smiled and held my hands.

- Sorry, for getting you here the way I did... But this is something really important and I wanted everyone to hear this... - he started.

- What is it? Tell me already! - I smiled confused.

- You know you're my everything... And I love you with all my heart.

I nodded.

- I'd do anything for you and I know I've made a huge mistake by believe in someone else instead of you... But I'm not gonna make this mistake again... I can promise you that...

- You better... - I smiled and so did he.

- Mostly now... Because I made a big decision... And hopefully you'll agree too.

I was confused until he got on one knee in front of me.

Is he actually going to do what I think??

- Clara Alonso... You're my everything and I want to spend the rest of my life with you... So will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?
