Chapter 11

Clari's POV:

The next few days went quite well at work and me and Dominguez seem to get along well, but Diego doesn't seem to like it. I don't know what to do... We're working together too much since this season German is ignoring Angie much while my ex is my student in the show.

I keep my distance from him, but it's hard not to be jealous when Diego is around Carla almost all the time.

- Go and surprise them! - said Lodo one afternoon when I was just staring Carla and Diego talking nearby.

- I think I will! - I said as I stood up, sneaked behind Diego and when it was the right time I jumped on his back which didn't surprise him at all.

- Nice to feel you on my back - Diego laughed, but Carla wasn't impressed. I could see on her face.

- Hi, guys! - I giggled - What's up?

- We were just talking. What's up with you, beautiful?

- I was missing you!

- I was missing you too!

- Can't you do this somewhere else? - Carla groaned.

- Okay, okay... My bad - I grinned at her then kissed Diego on the cheek and was about to leave, but he pulled me back by wrapping his arms around me and kissed my neck softly - Ah, what are you doing?

- I want to hold you for a little longer... - he replied - I hope you don't mind...

- Hm... No, not at all - I giggled as I let him hug me more.

When we arrived home we went to eat dinner and soon we were laying in bed together when Diego pulled me on top of him and looked into my eyes...

- Now tell me... - he started.

- Tell you what? - I asked, confused.

- What was that back with Carla this afternoon? Were you jealous that I was talking to her? - he asked cheekily.

- Eh?! Noooo! I wasn't jealous!

- Then?

- I uhm...

- Just admit it - he grinned even more now as I couldn't find the good words to my behaviour.

- Okay, fine! I was jealous! Happy now? - I mumbled, blushing slightly and looked away, but he turned me back to him and kissed me softly on the lips.

- Don't be jealous... - he smiled and wrapped his arms around me - You're the only woman I love more than my own life... No one else...

- I love you too... - I smiled as I snuggled up to him and soon we both fell asleep.

Diego's POV:

The next morning I woke up earlier than Clari, but I didn't mind because I could watch her asleep for a while.

Sometimes I wonder what is she dreaming about as she seems so peaceful...

I couldn't help, but kiss her head softly and suddenly she looked up at me with her beautiful, sleepy eyes.

- Good morning... - I whispered.

- Good morning... - she replied.

- Did you sleep well?

- Perfectly as always. How about you?

- Perfectly as well. Feeling you next to me is always a pleasure in the morning.

She blushed deeply as I said that which looked really cute.

- I wish we could lay here a little longer, but we need to go to work...

- I know - she sighed - But it's okay... We'll be together anyway... - she smiled and kissed me softly.

- Yeah, right - I grinned and kissed her one more time before we got out of the bed and got ready to go to work.
