Chapter 17

Diego's POV:

Later that day, when we finished we headed home, but instead of going home I decided to go to the park where I have a nice play to bring her to.

- Where are we going? - she asked when she noticed that we're not going to our house.

- To the park... I have something to show you... - I replied.

She was confused, I could feel it even if I didn't look at her at the moment so while I was driving I placed my hand on her leg and began to caress her gently.

- Diego...! - she groaned and as I looked at her from the corner of my eyes I realized that she was blushing now.

- What is it? - i asked her, smiling cheekily.

- S-Stop...

- Nope... It makes me calm... - I winked and she just sighed and placed her hand on mine.

We arrived to the park and I lead her to the side where I know there is a huge cheery blossom tree while is filled with flowers now.

When we arrived there Clari looked around in shock...

- This is beautiful - she mumbled.

- I know... - I smiled then turned her to face me and continued - But not as beautiful as you...

Then I kissed her lovingly.

- Thank you... - she smiled at me.

- Do you want to tell me why were you so upset not so long ago?

Clari hesitated for long seconds when I placed both hands on her cheeks.

- You can tell me anything... - I smiled at her again and caressed her cheeks.

- It's... It's Dominguez... - she muttered, avoiding eye contact.

- What did he do?

- He... He just...

I could tell she was scared to tell me what happened which only meant that he did something to break us apart again.

- Did he kiss you? - I asked because this was the only thing that could came to my mind.

She just nodded, still not looking at me at all.

- That asshole! - I hissed then I lifted her chin up and smiled at her - I know it was him who wanted this... Don't worry...

- Really? - she mumbled.

- Yes, really... I trust you... - I said as I kissed her softly on the lips.

She seemed to be calming down instantly and kissed me back while she wrapped her arms around my neck.

Clari's POV:

I feel awfully stupid now that Dominguez tried to trick me and kissed me.

And Diego... He's really the best boyfriend that anyone could wish for. He knew the truth right away and yet he didn't seem to be mad at me at all.

He knows me will and knows that I wouldn't betray him like this ever...

But I'm still afraid as Dominguez won't stop until he gets what he wants... I know him too well... I've been living with him for years after all...
