He almost got trampled when a black dog and Harry ran out of the tree with a werewolf close on the trail. Sebastian grabbed him from the danger.

"Sebastian, follow them!" Ciel ordered.

"Yes, lord."

Ciel ran and saw that the dog and Harry were swarmed by dementors. Ciel knew the Gryffindor enough to know Harry was outmatched. Ciel casted the Patronus charm in hopes he wasn't too late. A golden retriever mist vaporized. Right after it, a blue deer appeared next to it before heading straight to the dementors. The retriever bounded right behind the deer. Ciel was certain he only summoned the retriever. When he looked back, he saw nothing and fainted.

When he woke up, he saw Madam Pomfrey examining Ron. What happened to him? He sat up and started coughing. Due to his excursions, his asthma was triggered. Ron grunted as he was cared for.

"Good, Ciel. Nice to see you awake. Here's some medicine to soothe you. You're lucky that Professor Michaelis carried you back here," she said after she checked Ciel.

The room was silent until Harry and Hermione woke up from their beds that were across from Ciel's and Ron's.

"How did you get here?" Harry asked.

"Unaccounted variables ," he mumbled.

"What? Say that again, please," Harry said.

"Forget it. What happened to you? I saw you running out of the Whomping Willow with the black dog you've mentioned."

"That was Sirius Black, my godfather," Harry replied.

Before Harry could be further questioned, Sebastian strode in. Inconviently, a window broke as Grell came in with his death scythe, a chainsaw. He quickly closed the distance between him and Sebastian and embraced him. Sebastian stood stiff like a plank board. Snape then entered, upset and debating with Dumbledore.

"Well, Draco Malfoy's cinematic records aren't interesting. Really he did nothing but fool about," Grell said.

Snape halted his argument with Dumbledore.

"How did you know Malfoy?" Snape demanded.

"Like I said, his cinematic records," Grell replied.

"What's that?" Harry asked, now fully awake.

"Everyone is scheduled to die. Whenever death is near, we are by, ready to take their souls," Grell explained.

Everyone (except for two individuals) stared at him incredulously, including the headmaster.

"Enough! I've got four patients in bed; I can't allow this to happen. Headmaster, please help me!" Madam Pomfrey begged.

"I'm sorry, but I need to speak to these four," Dumbledore said impishly.

The nurse gave one last beseeching look before  she herded the unnecessary people out of the room. Dumbledore looked at the patients expectantly, and the Gryffindors started to talk all at once. He shook his head and held his hand up.

"I'm sorry, but the Sirius Black case can't be ruled by me. The Ministry of Magic will take care of that. Right now, as we speak, a dementor is about to suck Black's soul out. If you hurry, you might save more than one innocent life," he said, looking at Hermione.

"How? Impossible!" Ron exclaimed.

"Remember you two thought it was impossible that I was taking all those classes?" Hermione begun.

Yeah and you started to have eyebags," Ron interjected.

She looked at Ron darkly.

"At the beginning of the year, I was given this and couldn't tell anyone about it since only the Ministry of Magic was supposed to only have to access it. This is how I manage to take all those classes," Hermione explained, blushing a little.

"Three turns will do. Now remember: you must not for any reason to be seen," Dumbledore warned and closed the door.

Hermione quickly rotated the apparatus. The children glanced at one other and raced outside, almost colliding with the past them. They hid behind Hagrid's cottage. Suddenly
Ron gasped.

"What?! You hurt?" Hermione whispered.

"No! It's the hippogriff! That's the other live we've got to save!"

Ciel grimaced, not believing that one of their priorities was to save a beast. The moment the ministry, Dumbledore, Hagrid, and the other worthless people were getting closer to the hippogriff, Ron sprinted over to the condemned creature.

"Come on, help me to untie the hippogriff!" Ron urged.

"Coming. How will we get Black?" Harry asked.

"Simple. Have the bird fly to the tower he's in," Ciel and Hermione replied at the same time.

Ciel and Hermione briefly studied each other.

"Jeez, you two are the brains in this group," Ron muttered as they finally untied the hippogriff.

They heard the execution party getting closer, but the hippogriff won't budge. Dumbledore then asked if they wanted some tea, and they all agreed. Finally, the beast flew off. Harry guided it while Ciel would be the guide for getting them to Black's tower.

"Why did you decide to lead it?" Ciel asked.

"I wanted to get a good view to see if the deer was my dad and if the dog was my mum," he murmured.

Ciel nodded, not disclosing his knowledge. Once they arrived at the place where Harry was swarmed with dementors, they waited to see who showed up. Even though they were standing on the exact same place where Ciel saw the deer, they didn't come.

"We didn't change anything though," Ciel muttered.

As each second slipped away, the dread of watching their past selves overwhelmed them.

"Bloody h*ll!" Ciel cursed.

Unnerved and spurred on by Ciel, Harry drew out his wand. Ciel, seeing that stopping Harry would be in vain, drew out his wand also and summoned a Patronus before Harry did. A luminescent dog and deer appeared and charged straight foward, dispelling the whirlwind of dementors.

"So it was you and me who did the animagi," Harry said quietly.

"So it seems. We must head back," Ciel said.

They ran back to the castle just on time for Dumbledore to close the door to talk with them.

"You've found out who's animagi saved you, didn't you, Harry?" he asked.

"Yes, though I wished it was actually my parents," Harry admitted.

"James Potter lives inside of you, Harry," Dumbledore said, pointing at Harry's breast.

Then he turned to Ciel. His face was sad, but still had some happiness in them.

"Snape told me you killed Malfoy and both Professor Michaelis and a man in black confirmed it. I will not ask why. However, I'm sorry, but you cannot stay here. You will be wanted by the Ministry of Magic. It's best if you return home," he said.

"Headmaster, that's an awful joke!" Hermione said.

"It's true. All of you, it's true," Ciel said.

From their faces, Ciel knew he couldn't explain why he killed an acquaintance from the same House. It might have looked like Draco was jesting but he crossed an unforgivable line.

"Meet me in my office this evening after the ceremony," Dumbledore instructed.
